It's easy to win when you know the other teams signals now doesn't it?

Yes, the regular season plus postseason combined record of

81-25 for 6 years after spygate

is a far cry from the record of

79-28 in the 6 years before spygate.

Please..

Answer me this: Why did the Pats lose a 1st round draft pick and Belichick get a huge fine? Was it because of cheating? That's a rhetorical question because we know the answer, but you can reply if you want to be defensive.

So, they are no different from Bonds, Lance Armstrong, Clemens, etc. Their Super Bowl wins are tainted and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Actually I'm a 49ers fan and was hoping for a 9ers Pats SB so that it would hurt even more when the Pats got bounced :)

When the 49ers miss the playoffs or lose the Super Bowl, or both, we'll still see you on here posting surely.

How can the 49ers miss the playoffs? They are in the Super Bowl.

I try not to get caught up in the media stuff, but this thing with Shannon Sharpe is annoying, and the Spygate stuff infuriates me to no end. It is the most nothing thing -- I'll bet most people who talk about it do not even know what it was, which was essentially filming from an unauthorized location for future use. That people would try to take credit away from the Pats over this is ridiculous.

I am not sure that it was even really for future use.

I think it will eventally come out from someone's autobiography (coach or staff member) that it was just an intimidation / annoyance method. You put a guy in your team's gear, in plain view, with a big whopping camera, and point it at opposing coaches, who wave back at you (so clearly having nothing to do with "spying"). You do it so that they think "why are they doing that?" and change their signals, perhaps in the same game, and communication just might suffer.

Plus you do it to the Jets, because they have routinely done it to you.

He/she is now gone baby gone.

That was great tho :p. how sad is it to be a Jest fan and have to root for the Pats to lose while playing in the "Championship game" again. Almost to the SB..Again!. :singing: Thanks Jest fans, I feel so much better now after realizing how miserable you all must be. Enjoy your pathetic existence. Ha HA HA HA HA. Woo Hoo.:singing:

Almost didn't go to Peter King's MMQB today because, well, because. But I'm glad I did if only for this:

Great to see that. Somehow it doesn't seem to get as much traction as Suggs' be-yaching and Pollard whining about Brady's slide. it should. (Just heard BB on 'EEI and he declined to discuss this conversation by the way).

Also, for all the "classless Brady ran off the field" stuff -- the main photo pretty clearly shows Brady congratulating Flacco post-game.

Lots of people piling on the Pats when they lose. Cheer up Pats Fans. Remember, as Brady says, "Tall trees gets high winds."

Thanks Rico. I needed some thing positive today. The F'n media are the ones twisting everything around and fueling even the players attitudes towards each other. BB has the right idea. Give em as little as possible, because they will manipulate whatever you give them to fit their agenda. As illustrated today. And the fans and players eat it up.

Wasn't it Ray Lewis who said the Ravens knew all the Pats signals and calls? Shouldn't Raven fans be calling that cheating and demand they give back their win?

I think it was a baltimore area (MASN) highlight reel, though it might have been NFLN, but yes, Ray Lewis knew all of Brady's cadences in the 2009 Wildcard game. Don't let logic get in the way of an argument though.

I distinctly remember a report coming out after our whooping at the hands of the Fish in 06 where Saban was not quiet about saying that they got good intel on Brady's cadence and knew everything he was calling. I also remember some ESPN radio maroon talking about how if Belichick was the one doing it, it would be lumped into his mystique as being the mad genius. Naturally, ESPN radio was (and likely still is) infested with New York fans, and it was unbearable during 2007. Jason Smith went on and on one night about how we should have taken a knee on an interception return against the Bills instead of taking it all the way, so as to avoid running up the score. I stopped listening that day and haven't gone back.
