Some ravens gems

That shot of BB's reaction to the Vareen TD is truly classic BB. However, personally I would have been a lot happier if the RESULTS of those coaching tips BB made hadn't resulted in 15 garbage time points from the Texans.

But it is beautiful to see that one of the best coaches in NFL history still gets off actually coaching during a game, in an era when most NFL HC's seem to be above that "menial" task.

Think about this very typical BB behavior when the next doofus posts a BB is retiring thread.

I'm more worried about either of the two NFC teams right now than New England

I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens use some play action this weekend. The Pats are not used to it

pats never face the PA...we really should be worried.

just some more browsing

Amazing how things change. Last year in the week leading up to the AFCCG, I spent quite a bit of time on their boards and had some really interesting discussions. There was much respect going both ways, and really good X/O talk.

This year, trying to engage in similar discussion is futile. All you get is "Brady sucks, Flacco is awesome", how Ridley will do nothing, Spygate, and other similar nonsense. I guess postseason failure does this to a fanbase.

Needless to say, Sunday can't come quickly enough.

I agree. But for all we know the coaching was 'dont give up big plays, leave a buffer, and dont dive after balls because we dont need injuries.'

Yeah, at least the Jest fanbase could muster a couple fans to come here and discuss intelligently.

the third AFCCG under Harbs. I'm feeling more and more ****y everyday about it, too. The patriots last two games were against the Dolphins and a rapidly-cooling down Houston team. They haven't played hardball in a while. Thinking we're catching them by surprise today.

I don't know. Pretty sure Eli Manning wouldn't mind play another SB against Tom Brady. That doesn't sound like being the best ever.

Funny. Last week everyone was saying that the Broncos had the best defense in the league. See where that got them? Now the Pats have the number 1 run defense? And great cover guys? And great blah blah, and great blah blah blah? Anything NOT great? Fine. Rice and Boldin may as well not play. That only leaves us with Jones, and Pierce, and Torrey. We could win with them.

just a few more for ya

These posters have some good points.

Look at it from Flacco's position. Win on Sunday and he is going to his first Super Bowl. Lose on Sunday and he has extra time to negotiate a new huge deal with the Ravens. He is in a no lose situation.

And let's be honest here. I wasn't the only one who heart dropped when Belichick didn't do the Brandon Spikes "stripped ball turnover dance" right after the game. I was hoping for at least a little moonwalk out of Coach B. Not even a "jacked and pumped" in his post game press conference. Clearly Bill is chocking the AFCCG as a loss.

a superbowl bid adds 2 million per year to his next contract, another loss makes the ravens think "this kid just cant get us over the hump"

Quacko needs this game more then anybody realizes
