Tom Brady doesn't make All-Pro team

brady is just expected to me great and has been for 10+ years...people get sick of it

In terms of consistency and longevity at sustained "greatness" shouldn't Manning be in this camp as well? So why are people not sick of him? Was his comeback from neck surgery that heartwarming, histrionic, and awe-inspring?

Rogers .666 winning %, Manning .668, Brady .777.
The question isn't about lifetime achievement.

And the winning % is intertwined with the team and coaching performances. If Bill is everything we say he is then Brady's winning % is partly due to that, and Rodgers and Manning have certainly not had that advantage.

Brady was in the same system this year as in his whole career, and Manning started over from scratch. I think when a guy does that and has a better winning % for the year then it's a no-brainer. It's close but no cigar for Tom. We've seen this before (2003) and it didn't mean squat when it was all over did it? I wanna say, "Who cares?" but people seem to turn these things into snubs and WWIII. Crap, are you kidding me? It's a gnat on an elephant's ass compared to what's coming up.

In the end I want to see all of this "overlooking of Tom" being just what we all want: Something that takes the pressure off of him. Don't ask for more pressure. Ask for a sneak attack. Ask for this voting crap to be Rope A Dope time. Those who fall for Rope A Dope fall. Simple equation.

Did not the Broncos incorporate Colts offensive concepts for Manning this year to ease the transition? Sure, new offensive teammates and adjusting to the neck injury require modifications to varying degrees, but I would refrain from coining this "starting from scratch".

And the better winning percentage was a difference of one game... and of course he (Manning) lost the head-to-head regular season match-up that was not as close as the final score indicated.

Yes, unless you are not a fan of the human race. What he did there was nothing less than heart warming (if you have a heart.)

Why is it we only say, "We're all humans, not just football enemies" after somebody drops the WTC towers? Can't we see it without something that horrific happening? Manning is an inspiration to all those who have a heart beating in their chest that isn't painted with certain team colors.

Unfortunately some fans want to hog all the attention through their players. It's a bit grabby with these awards but you have to realize that awards are all based upon personal perceptions and you can't control those unless you beat the Niners in a great comeback. Well it didn't happen did it?

And I say GOOD because now we rope a dope the league into thinking of the Patriots as an afterthought. Big mistake!

Fair points. The media loves comeback stories from adversities. The Manning comeback from neck surgery angle greases the wheels to speed the momentum of the bandwagon.

Moreover, I like limelight on another team whilst the one I root for flies a bit under the radar.

Oh great...i go to see the article on NFL.com and i already see a video titled "Manning best quarterback of all time?"

Jesus ******* christ...

I watched the video and i was actually shocked at how unbiased the analysts were.

Brady was brought up immediately and said that Manning can't rank ahead of him.

Reminds me of the Saitns superbowl ready to annoint him the greatest ever only for him to throw a pick six ha..

As for the topic at hand, I don't care Brady wad the best QB this season.
His go to guy Welker not starting in the first few games, the O Line never truly healthy all season long, and I believe the most important thing people forget is that he didn't have his two Tight ends on the field at the same time at 100% since week 1! All he did was lead the best offense in the league by a wide margin... it's like Deion sanders says " People got used to Tom being great they take him for granted"

Who were the analysts if I may ask? Cause that's very surprising indeed lol

I don't think its so much that he didn't make the team, but how STUPID are the voters who selected Manning so overwhelmingly.
Why is it stupid to select the guy who started over with a new team and had the better winning %?

Peyton's effort feels like the season we call spring and everybody loves the spring. Spring is rebirth. Peyton was reborn personally and his career was reborn with a new team. All real fans of the NF of fricking L should be celebrating because this could lead to an AFCCG of the ages.

Screw the geriatric Ravens. Man up and take on the best if you want to be called the best. Champions don't act like chumpions and avoid the biggest collision in the history of the non-SB NFL.

Somebody would have cried foul for whichever one of the 3 top QBs that wasn't selected, especially if it was Peyton that was left out. The **** fits would have been flying all over.

Exactly. I don't get the recreational outrage. Manning had a great year by any account. In the end it's pretty meaningless award anyway. I doubt brady cares one iota.

Somebody let us know when Rex Ryan tweets that Brady only got three more votes than Mark Sanchez.
