Changes from Friday's report in Week 17: Kyle Love, Nate Solder, Sebastian Vollmer removed from report, Rob Ninkovich, Trevor Scott added.

O-Line getting healthier. Excellent timing.

I think BB is finally able to get back to the old "Do your Job" mentality with this group of players, after having it washed out by guys like Humble Pie, Moss, and other guys he let go without us even knowing why.
That's why we are so excited going forward, because all of those guys listed in this thread follow that mentality, and it shows on the field. And these are guys that the other teams don't prepare for, yet BB and the team knows that they can be counted on when it matters to the team the most.

Reminder, this is only going to get better next year. I don't think the rebuild is complete yet.

We're getting healthy at the right time, folks.

Our Tackles are both clear of the injury report!!!! That must be the first time all season (especially for the RT).

Damn, things look healthy at the moment. I love this.

.......And now Reiss tweets that Francis is not at all dinged - - he was just ill yesterday:

Mike Reiss@MikeReiss

DE Justin Francis, who missed practice Tuesday, not listed on injury report. Word is he was under the weather Tuesday. Better today.

Connolly has to deal with Watt, so I want to see his name come off that list.

Great news for us since Vollmer will be seeing JJ Watt along with Connolly quite a bit this weekend then either one of Ellerbe or Miller next weekend, should we advance.

Hopefully just a cold. No repeat of the 2006 AFCCG or (given the skyrocketing rates around here) real flu, please.

Begs the question did the Pats (infamous 2006 AFCG) and do the Pats get flu vaccinations?

I know that the pathetic technical state of flu vaccines require that because of the so 20th century mfg lead times that the flu makeup must be guessed and determined in the spring for October shots. This needs to be fixed. Get off your butts biochemists.

Friendly word of advice:

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, get the flu shot.

Hope that helps....

That's a serious worry. The wife works at umass memorial and there's one miserable sob of a flu virus running around, as well as a mean cold bug...

Wouldn't have mattered. That was "flu", not flu. Most likely was norovirus (a.k.a. cruise ship disease).

The 2 players I am most concerned about coming into the Houston game are Talib and Dennard. If they both play and look good at the end of the game I will like our chances in Denver a whole more if it comes down to that.

Heck, I like the D a whole lot more against anyone with them in there.

Bring it!!

absolutely horrible advice

The predominant strain of flu this year is an influenza A (H3N2) virus, which has accounted for 76 percent of the reported viruses.

"We know H3N2 has been associated in previous seasons with pretty severe illness, particularly among the elderly. That could be a contributor to why we are seeing such high levels of activity right now," Jhung said.

Currie of Montefiore suspects the H3N2 strain may also pose more of a risk for younger people, who "don't have as much experience with that strain."

Fortunately, flu experts did a good job last spring of predicting which of the flu strains circulating in Asia would be most likely to cause disease in this flu season. As a result, the CDC says the current batch of flu vaccines appear to be a good match for this year's flu.

So far, 91 percent of flu viruses analyzed by the CDC match flu strains contained in this year's vaccine.

No, it's not, and for multiple reasons. However, my post was just a response to PWP, and I'm not going to sidetrack the thread beyond where it's gone, so I'll leave it at that.
