The play just then from Jadeveon Clowney deserves it's own thread.

Oh my God. Holy ****. I've never seen anything like it.

Just to add, there's no wonder he's seen as the consensus #1 pick next year.

Enjoy!

One of the many reasons I would welcome an additional first next year.

No way that'll be enough. You're talking RGIII money to trade up for Clowney.

Probably be worth it too, Clowney & Jones on the outside with Vince and whoever inside?

Fair to point out he didn't get a sack though. Feather in Taylor Lewan's cap.

He put a lot of pressure on though. Sacks aren't the be all and end all of rushing the passer.

FWIW, I thought Devin Taylor looked equally as good today. Minus the obvious.

But we could get lucky and have that additional first turn into the #1 pick next year.

No way the Jets are gonna trade us their 1st round pick next year..

Can you imagine being the Chiefs. Last year Luck, this year nothing, next year Clowney.

Mental isn't it?

Fans will have to come up with a new slogan to rival "suck for Luck".

"Downey for Clowney"?

"Drown for Clown".

Saw that elsewhere so not mine.

Pigs. Flying!

:)

And you know BB trades out of that pick. He'd make a bucketload of picks in that trade.

Very tempting to take Clowney anyway. But BB would probably turn that into Stephon Tuitt, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, AJ McCarron, and something for 2015.

If Jacksonville plays Tebow, they're the leader in the clubhouse. Oakland will make a push though by losing ten in a row or so.

I was thinking Louis Nix, Kyle Van Noy and something for 2015 and 2016*.

* And because we're quite well set up, that would lead to 2017, 2018, 2019 etc.

The sad thing for KC is that there is probably is someone worth taking #1, but no one knows who he is yet. Gronk went 42, Ware and Watt 11, Pierre-Paul 15, Ngata 12, Revis 14. None would have been a wasted pick taken 1st overall. But the odds are none of the guys projected as a top 5 pick is liky to be that guy.

Only if we trade 32 this year.
