I was going to mention Baltimore, then I saw you said legitimate Super Bowl contenders :D

They got to blame someone for the loss might as well be us. Must be our fault they're 2-13.

AS far as Baltimore goes they clobbered the Giants today. Something we cannot seem to do.

Baltimore played alot more like a SB contender today than we did and they played a winning team.

Yeah, a winning team with a sparkling 8-7 record which has been out-scored 67-14 in their last 2 games.

Baltimore had lost 3 straight before today.

Worst. logic. ever.

The G-men flat out stink right now.

Wait didn't a stronger Ravens team last year go down to Jacksonville and lose?

Which I believe had Gabbert as their quarterback and three of their five wins were against the Colts (2x) and Titans

Hey Mularkey, Upper Northwest Montana Community College has a Head Coach opening. I think you would be perfect for the job....

Hey c'mon man. I'm applying for that job. Don't go telling Mularkey cos his resume is way better than mine.

nabwong resume
coached patriots 1999-present madden franchise mode

Is this that clown that used to be in Buffalo??

When was the last time the Bills had a coach that could be taken seriously??

Even if the Pats did call out a cadence, it's the smart thing to do in that situation. If the ref calls a penalty, the ball moves a half inch toward the goal line.

There's all kinds of gamesmanship throughout sports where players try to get away with stuff without the ref calling a penalty. Baseball players pretend to get hit with the ball, Steelers receivers pretend to be injured, basketball players flop, etc.

Shut up and play the game.

Receivers watch the ball and then go. He wasn't covering the end of the line in a down position he was back and in the slot. No excuses.

They are 8-7 but they were 9-7 in 04 and last year and showed us the door in both SB's. Obviously their record doesn't matter they still won 2 SB's against us. I just hope they don't make it this year and if we make it to the SB and see them it could be 0-3 against them.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if they do get flagged for that it's not a simple 5 yard penalty, It's a 15 yard unsportmanlike conduct penalty and an automatic first down...so they would have had a 1st down.

So every time a team holds and gets away with it, that's cheating too?

no...only when it's the Patriots...because they taped signals and ran them back to the secret decoder room and then decoded them and then ran them back to the sideline and then used the cheatraphone in Brady's helmet to tell him exactly what defense the MLB was gonna call presnap...or..something and ..well..because ESPN said so...that's why!!!

Dont be silly. It's only if the Pats hold:rolleyes:.........Uh oh, here it comes 1...2...3...

Those rotten Patriots! They tried to make us false start! The nerve! Let me tell ya Mularkey, if Jeff Tripplette won't give you a penalty on something, that's telling. He's been known to make them up against the Patriots. Next time ask him to call "face guarding" and you'll probably nave more luck.

How does an NFL football coach (a very elite group) get to a mindset like this? I would think it impossible. I would think an NFL coach would be embarrassed to go out in front of the world and suggest the other team cheated with such contrived nonsense. IMHO, if you are doing this you are not worthy of the honor that comes with being an NFL coach.

I don't know how he became a candidiate for another HC job; let alone how he actually got it.
