I just realized that this season, the team is 1-2 when I watch the games at Gillette. So 1-2 when I'm there (and the one win was the Jet's game when they looked horrible) and 4-0 when I'm not there.

So, I guess I'm responsible....I see no other possible reason that they lost tonight :confused2:

Well, I guess it could be the 4 turnovers....or the 2 for 15 3rd down efficiency......or the all around poor play of the special teams.....or the piss poor play of the secondary.

Nah, it's me.

Don't worry....I'm not stepping foot anywhere near Foxboro until the post Super Bowl victory celebration so you can make space for the next Lombardi :D

I noticed with 90 seconds left in the 1st half I was wearing a red hoodie.

I took it off immediately and we kicked ass in the second half.

I felt guilty too :( If only I noticed sooner...

Went to my first ever Pats game tonight. It was super exciting but I'm terrible luck for Boston teams. Gone to 7 Red Sox games and 1 Celtics game and they lost all but one(which was against the Royals).

So I'm definitely at least partially to blame...

Finally some accountability around here.

Lynch 'em!!!!...(anybody got any lynch?)

nah, even though it was almost an amazing victory comming from 31 pts. Last thing the Pats needed was a Saints fan with our history pulling for them, lol.
I jinxed it.

great effort from the foxboro boys to comback

I wore a red shirt for the Super Bowl last season.

I threw it in the garbage after the game.

I'm pretty sure it was my fathers fault, he must'v tuned in, any time he watches these nail biters we lose. I'll call him tomorrow and find out, then inform BB via an airplane writing in the sky over Gillette Stadium...

I blame Obama. Randy moss scored when I wasn't able to watch.

I didn't wear my Brady jersey until about 20 minute into the game. I'm sorry guys :(

Nah, it is on me. I did not wear my Pats toque till the second half.

Just did not do my job in all three phases of the game(Brady Jersey/throwback Pats tee/Pats toque)...

My Bad..

I've got that beat by a mile. Listen to my stats based on location...

I'm a displaced New Englander living in New York City. Patriots performance is based on where I watch the games. Here's the breakdown of the last 24 Patriots games...

When I watch in NYC - 18 wins and ONE loss

When I watch in Connecticut - ONE win and FOUR losses!

The only "in NYC loss" was the Ravens Sunday Night game.
The only "in Connecticut win" was the Jets on Thanksgiving.

18-1 vs. 1-4 based on my location. I KNEW the 49ers game was jinxed because I was in Connecticut for it.

Whoops, forgot to add last week's win vs. Texans.
That actually makes it -

19-1 watching in NYC and
1-4 watching in Connecticut

Stats going all the way back to first week of November, 2011, directly after the loss to the Steelers. Un-freaking-believable.

I starting to believe this is all Pewsterbaby's fault

Keep posting your confessions as to why you are responsible for the loss..

The bannings will begin starting tomorrow at dawn.

I coughed three times at the start of each SF possession but nobody was holding me by the balls like during the SB years.

It's actually completely on me; The Pats have lost every single game I have watched, where they have scored fewer points than their opponents. :(

Actually, it will be 1200-1300 in the proper part of the world. :singing:

Actually my fault. I actually ordered my Italian food after 1pm. I figured it was early enough because of a late game for the Pats. Never again. Always order my Italian food prior to the 1pm games. Also I wore my Pats hat I bought this year up in Boston. Wearing it in NY I've been 0-2.

A few years ago when I lived in Philly, EVERY time I ordered General Tso's chicken from a specific take out Chinese joint, the Pats won. When I didn't......you guessed it. The only time they lost when I ordered it, the playoff game to Denver.

Also, every Super Bowl I watched in California (lived there from 1999-2006), the Pats won, every one I've watched in NY (I'm a native NY'er), they've lost. I promise you my Pat's brethren, if we make it to the SB again, I will be watching it in Walnut Creek California.
