Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations prior to and during tonight's game between the Patriots and 49'ers on this thread.

It looks like the weather is going to chilly with some precip: Rain showers and sleet, becoming all rain after 8pm. Patchy fog. Low around 32. East wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

I know that they have the game scheduled for 8:20 but most of the Sunday night games don't kick off until 8:30.

Let hope for a good game with no injuries.

Props to all you studly fans braving the elements tonight. No, not you you club seats weenies.

Let's go Pats!! :rocker:

Reiss updated his blog with some links to the NFC West blog written by Mike Sando. And Sando has a stat on there that should not be surprising but jaw dropping nonetheless. Brady gets rid of the ball in 3 seconds or less 70% of the time. That is crazy.

GO PATS!

After the Donks (and Texans) win today, New England needs this one to keep the 2nd seed for another week. Also, it would be a great win because of all the ramifications that would come with it.

But yeah: A great game, a Patriots win, and no injuries. Couldn't ask for more.

I may be on and off this tonight, as I have a project to finish up with my daughter for her school assignment, as well as some general housework to get done before game time. It's the curse and the blessing of being a single dad. :rocker:

Don't normally watch the pregame show BUT there will be an interview with Vince W today, saw an excerpt, make you appreciate him as a leader in the locker room a guy who get it, a real Patriot player.

Don't miss it.

I'm watching every second of the pre-game show. I live in San Jose, CA and all I see on my TV is Raiders and 49ers. Seeing and hearing the Pats players is such a rare treat, I can't wait. :)

i can see that...quick routs...no deep deep passes by him really

Considering how the other games went today for the pats, this makes me nervous. Didnt imagine this would so crucial of a game for a bye.

Go Pats! I'm in the UK, so I have to head to bed soon as I'm up at 5am tomorrow, but I'll be catching a recording of the game hopefully!

32 - 21 to Pats! :eat2:

Because of the wins by Houston and Denver, I expect Gronk to play tonight.

For the second game in a row I'll be staying up until about 5am watching this game, hopefully it's as much fun as the previous 2 prime time games :rocker:

2 ints for cap and a fumble by gore...count on it

Good news. Ed Hochuli is officiating the game tonight. That means we are in for a lot of blown calls/non-calls and some way too detailed explanations of each penalty.

I doubt today's games will have anything to do with the decision to or not to play Gronk. I have never seen Belichick play or not play players based on the playoff race especially for seeding.

D should have fun tonight with Kap starting.

There was a time several years ago when I thought he was the best ref in football. Now not so much. IMO that goes to Mike Carey.

Great. Hopefully most of the blown calls/non-calls hurt the niners.
