Funny, wasn't that what everyone was saying 2 months ago?

Another stellar performance 13-25 161 yards 0 TD-2 Int. With the playoffs on the line, Giants get spanked 34-0. That's clutch, right?

This is why you don't call someone the best because of what they did for half a season in an otherwise mediocre career.

How about the Pats fans who said they'd prefer Eli to Brady? How do you feel about that now?

I hate the guy (and his brother and father) but I have to give him his due. He's a very good QB. The best? No! And anyone who actually thought that really doesn't follow football.

If you thought Eli was the best QB in the NFL I'm hoping you give up thinking as a New Years resolution

I live in Manhattan and I've decided that if I ever see Eli on the street while I'm with my kids, I'm going to ask him if they can rub him on the head (I'm sure that will go over big with him, but I will ask his permission).

Why?

I'll hope that some of his luck will rub off on them in their lives. Any guy with a career QB rating of 82 and a career regular season record of 77--56 (we're talking Matt Hasselbeck stats here, folks!) who is going to Canton because he won two SB's thanks to a freak catch by one player who never played another down in the NFL and a dropped pass by another guy who would make that catch the next 99 times it comes to him has to be as lucky as a Leprechaun in a field of four leaf clovers.

The Giants don't have a care in the world. They're waiting for Haystack Calhoon to jam his foot on their throat with 40 seconds to go in the season.

Is that true? I've never read that here, but I'll take your word for it. That's just crazy talk  Luckier than TB?, Maybe.

The only way I'd EVER take Eli over Brady is if Brady retires, we sign Eli, and sit him on the bench with a clipboard, and hope some of that crazy stupid luck rubs off on us.

Eli sucks as a QB in general, inconsistent and just plain bad throughout his career

however, when the game is on the line, somehow results happen, his hand in those is debatable, but damn straight he's a lucky ******er, however, theres that one saying about skill, opportunity and luck...

I don't get caught up in this QB comparisons. Let'm have Eli, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers I'll take Brady Every Time Every Day Twice On Sunday Even Monday And 1000 Xs on Superbowl Sunday!
