Gronk: arm injury

I know it's a bit late saying it and I have said it before, why is Gronk out there lining up in PAT!?!!!

BTW we won a Super Bowl with Jermaine Wiggins playing tight end. As long as we have Brady the offense will be fine.

The patriots also had an elite defense not a high school equivalent like this year.

4-6 weeks. About right for a broken arm/forearm. That puts him back to work for the playoffs

horrendous. horrible. f *ck.

too bad the Pats only have five TE's on the roster...looks like we may as well start the hot stove talk...

to be honest... I'd take a broken forearm over a lot of other injuries

MCL
ACL
ANKLE
KNEE
SHOULDER
NECK

You don't really put stress on your forearm and it CAN be heavily "shielded"

4-6 weeks per Ian Rappaport. Hope Shaincoe and Fells are up to the blocking task, and hope Hernandez can come back soon.

Check Ballard's knee and activate slower-Gronk if it's fine?

Makes it tougher to get one of the byes, but on the bright side, the extra rest will do Gronk's body a lot of good and will make him that much more effective in the playoffs.

i just hope hernandez can go thursday and stay on the field the rest of the season

Yes, it's broken. Happened on the last PAT, according to Schefter.
He wasn't on the field for the last PAT. And on the next to last PAT he was blocking on the right side, and it didn't look like anything unusual happened while blocking.

He came back on the next series and see my previous post about what his last play with around 6:45 left.

Which means that if it is indeed a fracture it is probably hairline or otherwise not a devastating one.

You block with a broken forearm and then come back and say that..

I saw a couple plays of Shiancoe blocking. Guy has skillz.

It's the Patriots. If it wasn't a serious injury, you wouldn't be hearing about it.

Even if it is a serious injury, we don't often hear about them. . . .

as they were lining up I said the Pats should go for it to hit sixty, someone I was watching the game with said "why risk the injury?" Just as likely to get hurt during the XP I said, unfortunately I was correct...

4-6 Weeks for any other human... 2-3 Weeks for Gronk...

Mark my words.. he'll be back in 22 days for HOUSTON

I DO NOT want them to rush Hernandez back because of this. We're all but guaranteed a 4th seed. Let's our TE's heal up and come back when they're ready. We all saw what happened last time we rushed Hernandez back...
