What game was it after? First time i have seen that thread. Either way...kids a tard

Jets-Patriots.

I watched their game. It's amazing how futile is that offense. No matter how bad Cassel or Gabbert can play, Mark Sanchez won't allow anyone else the right to be the worst starting QB in the NFL.

I might have to give Sancheeze the benefit of the doubt here......at least he tried completing a pass to a receiver with a chance of catching the ball if the ball did reach him.....he probably thought throwing it to Hill was the same as throwing it away......how many passes do you think those hands of stone drop during practice?

....
The Jets are a disaster, and no one change at any position, including quarterback, regardless if the player getting the call is as potentially dynamic as Tebow, will matter.
These are the dark times and there’s little anyone can do in the short term to get this team back to being what it XXonceXXXNEVER was.

Some suckitude honest self-appraisal from this jester fan. (with one editorial correction. :D )

Great chuckles for us.

He still makes rookie mistakes. Can anybody honestly say that this guy has improved over 4 years? The only difference is him having absolutely no confidence left.

I guess Carroll is getting the final laugh.

HECK of an opening day though!

It wouldn't surprise me if Li'l Marky saw the ref standing there and thought he was a defender.

The only difference is him having absolutely no confidence left.

Let's hope he has many years left as the Green Beans starting quarterback. :singing:

Gotta love this thread in that they think some team is going to trade for Sanchez and relieve the Jets of his cap burden this offseason.

2. Some team out there is going to trade a late round pick for Mark Sanchez this offseason alleviating us from much of his contracts dead money. Why? because someone out there is going to make excuses for him(like most of you) and thinks all he needs is a change of scenery.

I am sorry, but no one is going to take on Sanchez's $8.75 guaranteed base salary with the way he is playing. If the Jets are willing to eat about $6-7 million of it by converting it into a bonus, then someone will trade for him. If the Jets were smart, they would offer Sanchez and a third rounder to a team that has tons of cap space for a bag of footballs just so they will take his cap charge off their hands.

Re: Moronic Jets Fans...

Sit back and enjoy the show AzPatsFan.

Absolutely. No need to give them any helpful ideas. The Patriots need Woody Johnson to remain owner of the Green Beans.

Re: Moronic Jets Fans...

Jets fans aren't even as funny as they used to be. Now they all seem to accept their franchise is crap, their HC is overrated, their quarterback is a joke, and that they won't win anything in the near future. It was waaaay more fun when they had an extremely high opinion of the state of their team. I guess Sanchez had to screw that up for us too.

P.S: Jets fans, your team won't ever amount to anything until you get yourselves a very good quarterback. When Chad Pennington, Ken O'Brien and Vinny Testaverde are some of the best options you've had in 43 years, you know you have a serious problem.

This. I really want them to go on a win streak (excepting the Pats game at their place), so they get their false hopes up again and don't replace coach, QB, or GM this offseason. It's not as fun when they're this bad...

Not just that, it's harder to recover when you just grind along at 8-8. That's the ideal final record for all other division teams, really.

Agree 100% As hard as it is to root for a Rats' win on Sundays, they need to win a few to get that ideal 7-9, 8-8 record. (Of course, Tanny seems to be bullet proof and as long as he's doing the drafting the Jets will suck. He's proven more than once that he can totally **** up an early 1st round pick.

And yet there are Pats Fans that criticize BB while he tries to rebuild with 14-2 records. How much harder must that be?

I want them to lose badly at the Rams. Kick their asses Schottenheimer! It be fun to watch the next meltdown on JI when that happens :D

Rams were decent against SF so I don't rule it out.

What you are seeing from the Jets right now is just the tip of the iceberg. All of the cap maneuvering was just smoke and mirrors. Bottom line, it will catch up with them, and it already has. The Jets were in no position to maintain their 8-8 team this offseason, let alone make upgrades or add depth. Next year will be worse. They'll lose roughly 22 players to FA, cut Scott, Pace, and Thomas, and still have less wiggle room than they did this offseason (about $7M.) If they get cap savins, make it about $10M to replace 25 players and half their starters. Bottom line is they are completely, utterly screwed for next year. They also have no young talent that leads you to believe they'll be any good in 3-4 years.

Maybin has been cut, and they signed Kalil Bell. That'll make the difference......

But with the new CBA, high picks who bust aren't the cap killers they used to be.

I agree...."Go rodents! beat the Rams!"

Well, cutting n overrated horrible player who can't get on the field for a JAG RB who might be the best RB on their team might actually be a huge difference.
