Yes, there are a lot of new players, especially on offense. But, yeah, obviously the biggest problem was QB. Painter was a joke and Collins was old as hell.

Also...have I mentioned....he's a backup? Davis and Powers are out. The backup played well. He had as many TOs as our whole D has had all year in that game.

Ahm, I'm the one who created the thread in the first place. This is about Darius Butler, not the Colts. The fact he plays for you guys is merely incidental. Once again, if he were playing for another team and it were another fanbase talking him up, I would've said the same thing. If anyone here posted anything about Indy, and turned the discussion that way, it sure as hell wasn't me. You should really work on your reading comprehension. Have a nice day, too.

Agreed, I like Butler as well. On the pick-six on Thursday night, he made a very good, situationally-aware play, knowing that the Jaguars wouldn't/couldn't beat him deep and jumping the route for a score that basically iced the game.

Also, Wheatley was a bugger bust than Butler, for sure. Butler is still in the league, showed some playmaking skills when he was here, and has continued to show at least some skill since he's left.

The title of the thread says "Colts fans". Now unless you were talking about another team....with another Butler....you were talking about Indianpolis and Colts fans. My reading comprehension is fine...."Colts fans" is literally in the threads title lol.

I am a "Colts fan", so since you were talking about "Colts fans" I took a break from our Darius Butler Fanlub meeting and responded.

Like I said, it's a real shame that "Colts fans" were hyped about a backup playing well and it's a good thing you're here to report on it.

Colts fans really should try to be more like you level headed Pats fans, you guys never hype up or get down on Patriots players, certainly not based on one game....right?

Let's try this in a friendly manner, one more time:

The person who started the thread is telling you that the point is not about Colts fans in particular, but about any team's fans getting excited about what they perceive as a strong performance from Darius Butler. As a Patriots fan who saw Butler getting beat like a red-headed stepchild on a regular basis, the O.P. isn't buying the notion of a Butler resurgence. From the O.P.:

Yeah, buddy, I'm sure Tom will be veeeery concerned about Darius ******* Butler going into the Indy game.

Look for Belichick and McDaniels to draw up a gameplan that involves going after this stiff multiple times.

I find it incredible that anyone with self respect would identify themselves anywhere (even the Internet) as "colts fan" after that shameless tanking of a season last year. I'd be sort of embarrassed.
