We need secondary help while we wait for some people to mature Wilson, Ebner, Dennard.

Plus getting gregory back will help.

I propose Trading a draft pick to either

KC for S Eric Berry or CB Brandon Flowers

or

Cleveland for Joe HAden

I Dowling is driving me nuts...is he just a constantly injured player

Yes because 3 of the best secondary players in the league would be available for trade.

You wouldn't even be able to make that trade on Madden!

The GM's of either of those teams should be fired if they made such trades.

The Cleveland GM ( Holmgren) is getting fired and they need to rebuild

Pioli could be on his way out

as good as those guys are, I'm not sure they would help at this point.

the pats have what they have

I am going to be as optimistic as possible and say the one play that gave the seahawks the lead was at the hand of 2 rookies can be addressed, but I am not sure the current DB coach is the guy to address it

the pats need to bring in someone who can help this unit.....there's some decent individual talent there......but Boyer appears to simply be lost

I'm not saying mangini is the answer, but there appears to be a need, it would be a reall warm ending by having a kiss and make up moment.....true hallmark

As far as I know, Holmgren is stepping down on his own accord and Pioli isn't out yet. Regardless, you're living in a fantasy world, my friend.

Any three of those guys would help immensely.

Yeah im sure we could get all three for a 4th round pick:rolleyes:

I doubt we would be willing to part with a 1st and a mid round pick to get any of those guys, which is what it would take, minimum.

I'd probably make the deal for that compensation. I doubt KC or CLE would.

I don't think so......the problem is bigger than one guy

Sure it is. But I didn't say it would solve it. I said one of those guys would help immensely, which they would. With one of the cornerbacks, there would be no need to play Arrington anywhere. With Berry, our needs at safety are solved. With Berry and either Flowers or Haden, our problems are completely solved. Unfortunately, this trade would never happen because Wendy the ****** for the Howard Stern show is not running either one of those franchises.

I think Belichick would absolutely part with a first rounder for Eric Berry.

Obviously, though, that's not the actual problem with the suggestion. ;)

2013 Welker money + more coin = Revis. Revis can go solo on his guy and BB can quadruple the other WR......and they just might get a stop or two

And if Revis isn't the same after the knee surgery?

Ed Reed may hit the free agent market in the offseason. I'm sure Belichick will be watching what happens with him...

oh agreed.

But it seems any quarterback out there can take their pick of receivers.

If we had even one member of the secondary that opposing qb's feared it would be a start.

A damn good start.

Revis isn't a free agent despite what a few websites are proclaiming.

Ed Reed for a year or 2 would be worth overpaying to get, he would be a better coach than Flores/Boyer and his leadership & experience would help on the field too, as well as his obvious ability.

The Ravens will not let Reed go anywhere, he will retire a lifelong raven.
Especially with the possibility that Lewis would be finished they need that leadership.
A more logical fit and choice would be Louis Delmas. I'd love Adrian Wilson but he isn't going anywhere.

Kerry Rhodes would be a good signing from the Cardinals. He's improved a lot since he left the Jets.
