It looks bad, but let's look at the schedule ahead....

Personally, I'm just focused on the Jets game. I live in NYC and, believe me, they're going to come to Foxboro thinking they're "reborn" after today's win, as delusional as we all might think that is.

I'll be happy with a one point win in that game and then I'll start thinking about the game after that, whatever it is.

"High seeding" is really just about the last thing on which the Pats or we should be spending our energy at this point.

I see the Pats loosing to the Texans, the 49ers, and a game to Miami and the Jets. This is a 9-7 team and it could easily fall to 7-9.

7-9... Lol

You have no more rationale for predicting that that than do the people who are trying to pull an 11--5 season out of their butts.

I live in NYC. You should have read what people were saying down here about the Giants when they were 6--6 last year with Dallas on their schedule the next week...and we all know how that ended up.

There is no way any of us can say how this team is going to evolve over the next month or so.

The only thing worth thinking about is beating the Jets next week. The rest will take care of itself, one way or the other.

To be fair, the Texans look bad against another team that lost to the Seahawks tonight.

our secondary is BAD...............however that Seattle team did beat the packers ( don't wanta hear it about that bs TD)

SO as pissed of as I am at our defense Im not THAT angry with them....they did get the ball back in the cardinals game before ghost shanked the kick.......

Baltimore we dont have a consensus on whether or not the field goal was good.

AH doesn't drop that ball on 3rd and a mile the 4th down play probably converts and brady has a shot.

Did not think for a second this team would start off 3-3. I had them at 5-1 thus far and 12-4 this season with losses vs the ravens, 49ers, Texans and one WTF loss. Well so far they have had two WTF losses.

Well 12-4 is a pipe dream. After seeing this team play I think they will end up going 8-8. I still see losses against the 49ers and texans and I think they will split again the dolphins and jets with another loss mixed in.

1 point win? yeah idk if the pats have enough to pull out a close win right now...31-17 please

Did you see the 49ers play today? talk about bad...and look at Houston right now...

Why is everyone so set on losses to Houston and SF at HOME???

Lol funny fans..

the AFC is still up for grabs. Baltimore loses Ladarius Webb, their best cover corner for the season, making their already atrocious pass defense even worse. Houston does not look good right now (down 21-10) to GB. There is really no one else in the AFC that looks above the rest.

with that said, Brady has to play better against good defenses. This loss today was on him. I said it after the super bowl last year, Brady just goes into "Frady Cat" mode sometimes. Again, an intentional grounding penalty that was an absolute killer at the end of the first half. His decision making has got to be better. His downfield throwing has to be better. I expect the offense to make corrections, but the defense is a completely different story. It is not going to improve much the rest of the way. We don't have a single defensive back capable of covering a receiver.

The only game I feel like is an easy game is the JAG game. Which means we'll find a way to screw that up too.

Gabbert may throw for 300 against the defense.

You can no more know today whether they'll be 8--8 than you could have "known" that they would be 12--4 going into the season. It's the NFL. All but a small hand full of teams are "pretty good," most are "good" and some are "very good," but any one of them can beat any other team under the right circumstances.

Let's just think about beating the Jets next week. Then let's think about whomever we play next.

Cannot disagree with that but I still believe that the 49ers and texans are better teams than the pats are.

Let me know when we beat a good team....

Bills- Not good

Titans- Nope

Denver- over rated

The way our secondary is playing ,a JV High School team could get 300 yards on them.

Right now the only team beating the Pats is the Pats themselves. Our offensive coaching sucks, our secondary coaching sucks and TB is not the killer he once was.

In all seriousness besides BB this coaching staff is not gonna coach this team to a SB win.

Well to be honest my guess at the start of the season (like everybody's else) was based on certain assumptions such as how bad I thought the opposing teams would be and how good I thought this pats team could be.

While I could be dead wrong about 8-8 watching this team for 6 games (and the teams the pats are going to face soon) I am actually in a better position to make a more accurate prediction.

Did Bill not teach us, one week at a time??

Someone should teach BB "Take the sure points" not "Gamble with a good defensve team"

No, they definitely made what I thought was the right call trying for six. Brady did what every QB is taught to do in that situation. You only have a few seconds, and if nothing is there, throw it away so that there's no way it could be picked off. I've *NEVER* seen a grounding penalty called in that situation in 35+ years of watching football. And, of course, the Pats get called for it there. It was crazy.
