A few weeks ago Troy's day was for his induction into the Patriot Hall of Fame which is certainly coming for K faulk also but he was wait until he is eligible and voted in.

In the interim I see no reason why we cant celebrate him sooner I think he should be the honary captain at the next home game.

That being said.....thank you Kevin Faulk for being such a classy and community oriented person. You were not one of the big stars of the offense, but you WERE the glue that kept it all together during the glory years.

Unfortunately I think Faulk will go down in history as the player with the most rushing yards without a 100 yard game. Of course, we all know that's not what his role was.

Interesting, but no one else will remember that obscure distinction.

I'm sure three rings and over a decade of great memories will override.

One of my all-time favorites, hope he gets Bruschi-level recognition around these parts in his retirement. We've had lots of great memories in the past decade-plus, and he was prominently involved in most of them.

He truly is a Patriots Legend! He might as well start writing his induction speech to the Patriots HoF!

Random note: with his retirement, I'm pretty sure Adam Vinatieri is the last Patriot who ever wore anything but the Super Bowl era style jersey.

He was great to watch. One of my favorites.

Well, he was the last active RB who played in the 20th century.

Tells you what a great, long lasting career Faulk's had. Best wishes for his post-retirement years!!

One of my all time favorites!

Perhaps the least sung hero from the glory days when few were deserving of more praise.

For all the brilliant catches in big spots he made throughout his career, two particular moments stand out and will stick with me forever.

1. Turning down more money and an apparent RB1 gig with the Bears to stay with the Pats.

2. Converting the direct snap for two points in SB38 after being kept off the scoreboard all season.
