I wonder if they will have on the new official's uniforms. I read somewhere that there are changes.

mort just said it's done and reg officials should be in tomorrow night game..hey..maybe i will watch now

Great news. Now we can return to complaining about real refs now.

and I will..except it won't be because the "refs" are actually circus clowns and coma ward escapees...I know The Jaw-chuli will be posing up a storm and calling tons of holding penalties...but they WILL be real...not this jacka$$ed "fifteen yards for offsides, ball spotted at the forty seven after previous spot at the 42 and it's now 4th down instead of third down, please run off 45 seconds on the game clock, hut hut, faceoff in the corner, that's goaltending on strike three"

I've seen thousands of games in my lifetime and I've biatched and moaned every single season about biased calls and weird interpretations like the tuck rule...I don't know any fans who haven't...but this past three weeks have been NOTHING remotely close to actual football as we know it...it is, or was hopefully, an abominable and detestable exercise in complete buffoonery...a carnival of contemptible clownery the likes of which have NEVER been seen in any pro sport ever.

As much as I despise Jeff Triplette, I would have kissed his feet and praised Jesus if he somehow got to work that Ravens game. This has been a nightmare.

Yes, great news!

I feel better knowing that it is now obvious that everyone, including the owners and the refs, knew what an epic disaster these replacement refs were. The media creates huge stories out of nothing all the time, but not this time. It really WAS that bad.

Ahhhhhhh ...........

NY Jets football at its finest! :D

Thank God, now we can see some real football, except in NY where they have to watch the Jests.

I'm still not buying a new jersey

Imagine the last game for the replacement guys as lame ducks, with the whole world knowing this is their final show. Now, that would be a world class circus worth watching.

Thank God! Now I can spend the rest of the season complaining how horrible the real refs are and how many blown calls they have made. All is right with the world.

What do the Jets have to do with this?

they're so bad nobody even cared to blow calls against them

at least they wont cost a team a game

Amazing how quickly a deal can be done when they are actually negotiating instead of posturing and stonewalling. they wasted a year screwing around.

Happy that the got it done but they cost themselves boatloads of credibility that I doubt they will ever recover.

Good news:

Real officials are back

Bad news:

Now I'll probably watch tomorrow's game
