And the Raiders rack up about 4 flags in about 3 minutes

why do the raiders always do this? What makes them commit so many penalties? Morons

wouldn't know the difference between reiss and hernandez? WTF is that guy smoking?

Darren McFadden is a very, very, very good footballer.

This game is freaking boring. Hopefully SD pulls it out because I picked them to win this game and the division.

my chargers got some major problems this season, i don't really see them doing well unless peyton breaks down

the oline sucks, no running game with mathews out, and now gates has a rib injury...... ugh

It's increasingly looking like the Bengals fleeced the Raiders in the Palmer trade.

He actually rolled the ball to Lechler there. :lol2:

Both of these teams look like they are still in preseason mode playing inept football. The Raiders blew their chance right before halftime once they chose to kick a FG on the 1.5 yard line on 4th down for 3. Since then the play calling has been just terrible on their side, the only player on offense who has any spark whatsoever is McFadden. Since he is the only threat however, the Chargers are doing an excellent job containing and covering him out of the backfield. Once the Raiders long snapper went out of the game with a concussion, they should have started playing on 4 downs seeing as they have had 2 muffed snaps and 1 blocked punt on 4th down. I feel bad for those Raider fans needing to watch a team play like this.

Chargers on the other hand are sorely missing Matthews in the backfield and have only been able to make plays on busted coverage downfield. Rivers looks uninspiring and shaky throwing the ball, and isn't on the same page with Gates at all.

It's only been one week but in my opinion these two teams look similar to last year's underachieving teams and won't be able to compete with a Peyton Manning led Denver team this season.

Why was there not a punt returner back there??? They clearly didn't watch the Eagles-Giants game from a few seasons back.

No clue what both of those teams were doing there with 3 seconds left on the click.

San Diego - Why are you actually punting there? A bad snap / block / return and you could go into overtime as you are only up by 8 points! Better off leaving in Rivers and taking a shotgun snap, or snap with the running back and either run around and slide, or throw a deep out of bounds pass.

Oakland - Why when the Chargers decide to punt are you not attempting to return the ball? Yes the Chargers are known for poor special teams 2 years ago but not sure a full punt block is better than attempting a return, especially if they kicked it to you.

One thing is for certain, I appreciate the coaching staff and calls the Belichick make on the sideline and the situational awareness they seem to work with in practice, versus the head scratching plays these two teams made this week.

Good point

It was the Toilet Bowl of the AFCW
