A Patriots fans drinking game for dealing with the Giants stuff tonight


One of the worst parts of losing a Super Bowl is the opening game of the following season when we have to relive all the misery that we just spent the last six months burying deep inside.

So the Giants will probably have fancy Super Bowl champs patches tonight, and we’ll get a bevy of not only Super Bowl 46 lowlights but also some Super Bowl 42 ones sprinkled in too. Yeah football’s back but first us Patriots fans have to relive a bunch of misery. Great.

So if you’re like me it will help to be drinking heavily throughout. Here are the official rules for the “Patriots fans guide to drinking heavily during the Giants victory lap” game.

Manningham Sideline Catch: just one tiny sip, they’re gonna show this one at least 50 times and we don’t want to lose anyone.

Tyree Helmet Catch: finish your beer. They’ll show it a couple times and we might as well get the party rolling.

Bradshaw falls into the end zone: fall over yourself and take a sip of your drink.

Cruz salsas, highlights or real time: Scream “learn a new dance” and take a sip.

“Eli” and “Elite” mentioned in the same sentence: Take 3 sips for the 3 Super Bowls Brady still has to Eli’s 2.

Michael Strahan makes an appearance: yell “where’s Kelly Ripa, gap tooth!?” and drink.

Shot of any Giant getting Super Bowl confetti’ed: pour your drink out on the closest Giants fans face.

Any shot of Brady getting decked in either Super Bowl: punch yourself once in the face then drink.

I hate the Cows, "America's Team" nonsense.
I don't hate the Giants who are a great org and play well with the chips on the line winning fair and square albeit with a horseshoe up their ass, just like many other SB winners.
I just want to skip the Eli fellating.

rooting for Dallas tonight. Not just because they're going to beat the Giants, but they're the only other "East" team in the NFL that I can stand.

The only thing that sucks is that no matter who wins tonight, fans of every other team loses. Our only hope is for the ghost of Jimmy Hoffa to pull the entire stadium into the depths of hell. And hopefully the Jets players are having a late night team meeting in the stadium.

For some reason I'm expecting a lot from a few underachiever teams such as SD, Dallas, and Philly..Feels like a strange year is coming...Giants fans cry no respect, but I think Philly and Cowboys are nearly evenly matched.

Now I finally understand why the Pats are hated so much outside of Eastern NE...jealousy of achievement, something that's running rampant these days. I'm for the Giants tonight who are a class org, play tough and come up big when it counts. Sorta like the early 2000s NE team. Dallas epitomizes the underachieving loud mouth braggarts (any other team like that come to mind?) who are hyped year after year by sports mediots and fall flat when the chips are on the line. That said it's a comfort to know that within 3 hours one of these guys will have a L.

Praying for an asteroid to his the stadium right about....now!

I didn't turn it on until now because I knew the opening would be miss worthy. Feels dirty to say this but I think for the next 3 hours I am a cowboy fan.
