1 series? Will Brady even go?

He didn't in 2011, but he played 2 series in 2010.

I seem to think he won't play at all tomorrow night..but rest of starters will for first series

Brady won't play at all. Gotta show off Hoyer and Mallett while they can. I expect to see Brady for the first half of so of game 3 and that's it.

brady will definitely play tomorrow night. he's got to get into a rhthym with lloyd, gaffney and stallworth. the more snaps in preseason for this bunch, the better. it's not like the offense is in sync right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brady and the starters play the whole 1st quarter..

I hope he doesn't, I'd rather see more Hoyer/Mallett anyway.

I wouldn't be shocked if Brady played a quarter. with the reports I've been hearing about him in practice the past 3 days, he definitely needs it.

he has played with all of those WRs so far and from what we are hearing..him and lloyd act like they have been together for years

I think Brady will take 3-4 snaps then be subbed for Hoyer mid series.

I hope he does but if the o-line has truly been as bad as reports suggest, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play at all.

with all do respect I don't think a few bad practices out weighs a decade of dominance.. I really don't think he needs to risk injury behind a 3rd string o-line, he is practicing all we read is the stats we don't know the situation or if its experimenting with different concepts.

I want to see TB play at least one sucessful series. If the Oline can't protect him well enough then one series is good enough.

The o-line should be able to protect him..they are playing a horrible D

Brady, 1st series and out, the rest will play longer, some the whole first quarter some a little less. second quarter on will be non starters or undetermined status players. Just my take

Exactly. Brady has some new toys that he needs to get familiar with and the preseason is the best time to do that. I just hope that the makeshift O-Line holds up and doesn't get Brady killed.

Too many fans here see the pre season as something other than what BB views it as, preparation for the regular season. He doesn't showcase trade bait, he has more important items on his agenda. And when the backups are in he expects them to perform like the guy they're backing up so he can evaluate all the other players who happen to be on the field with them and battling for roster spots within the system...

I think he'd love to play Brady for a quarter, but the OL situation probably won't allow for that. Still expect to see a series or two unless it appears so chaotic out of the gate he can't risk it. I expect to see Hoyer get extended reps also unless protection becomes so problematic it's Hammer time. Expect to see what passes for our first team OL out there long after NO first team DL has finished for the evening though because they need the reps with all the starters missing. He could always pull a fast one on Vitt and bring the 1st string O back in the second half if he just wanted an opportunity to work on timing and rhythm.

I think the starters will play until they get it right.

Starters got put back into one of the games they were pulled from last year in order to get it right and I believe they played into the 4th game as well, which not many do.

Bedard just tweeted Brady WILL PLAY tonight. And Dennard won't, he is injured.

As expected. Can't see him going more than two series, though. Especially if the OL has trouble holding up.
