Im over the loss. Now i look at it as it just added to the resume when we win #4 this year. Brady becomes the all time playoff win leader with one more win. If they make the Super Bowl Belichick ties Shula with 6 and Brady becomes the all time leader. If they win the Super Bowl Belichick ties Landry with 20 playoff wins and Patriots dynasty can stand up to the Steelers and 49er dynasties. Im so ready. Lloyd,Welker,Gronk and Hernandez wont be stopped. The defense which improved so much at the end will only get better with draft picks. Bring..it..on!!!

I just want no injuries early on so we are full strength come the end of the year. No more hobbled Gronk, or playing on an ACL tear Mankins, or bad back Vollmer, or messed up hip Ras I, or.........

I almost tear up thinking about how awesome it will be when we get to see BB and Brady hoist another Lombardi (and the day WILL come!). I know that we have nothing to complain about, but the last 8 years have been so frustrating watching us come up just short time after time. And the haters piling on every time. Those 2 deserve that moment again more than anyone and I can't wait.

Would equally love to see a 9-7 season and go 4-0 in the playoffs.

AMEN. I'm done with the "style points" at this point. Just win the last game of the season. 8-8 wild card and Super Bowl Championship is fine by me.

This thread is crazy. 19-0 are you insane. You have 2 new WR you have never seen in action with the Patriots, and Welker might not sign. No one knows if your defense won't be crap next year.

Im just saying this because they picked on Brees, but its not like its not accurate,lol.

What does Welker signing right now have to do with this? You'd think he would be playing for possible suitors including the Patriots.

If we were in the NFC West, I'd be happy with a 6-10 season and then 4-0 in the playoffs!

That post had me rising from my seat. I know it's early but it IS getting closer.

I think it would be great to see Belichick tie and pass Shula, especially since it was Shula who became King of the Asterjerks with his classless comments about the Pats during Crygate.

The best thing to come out of that was seeing Shula trying to do the back shuffle when he realized that his main reason for calling for an asterisk (the Pats losing a first round pick for a rule violation) was exactly what happened to his team prior to their precious 17-0 season.

In this case, I wouldn't use the word "insane" to describe 19--0, but "highly improbable" is a description that comes to mind. And, have we so quickly forgotten the pressure that the "Perfect Season" mantra put on the team as it built to a crescendo week after week?

Personally, I'll take 10--6 and getting hot in January all the way to the Duck Boats. :singing:

The schedule is a joke and this team's been close the last two seasons 14-2 and 13-3 and honestly both of those years only 1 loss each year was due to just being outmatched or surprised (Browns 11, Steelers 12). That's with garbage defense and an offense with no deep threat. This offense is going to be insane and the defense should be mediocre... the only tough games we have are at home (Texans 49ers). Ravens game was gonna be tough, but without suggs and an aging Lewis/Reed we should win that game.

If the pats win the Super Bowl this year I don't think it counts as part of the dynasty, the only player still here from 01 is brady, the only ones from 03 are brady and branch (as of now), and the only ones from 04 are brady branch and wilfork.

Not only that but the style of play for this team vs those teams is night and day. This team is forging its own identity apart from the dynasty teams.
