The worst of news.... our thoughts are with you

Sorry for your loss, you sound strong... may your faith sustain you during this difficult time.

Dave,

I am so very sorry for you and your family. You are in my thoughts. It may be of no solace during this dark time, but your whole Patsfans family grieves with and for you and your children.

Peace.

Dave my condolences at your terrible loss, You wife will live on in the hearts of you and your children who are her ongoing gift to the world.

I feel for you, PatJew.

I'm honored but a bit frightened that I sort of, kind of, almost, like family. I kinda pity you for having me as your support system. I mean I barely avoided the mess of clicking "like."

Seriously though, well, what can I say...

I do not post often but I do come here every day. You defintely have a lot of friends here and you are defintely part of the family here. I always look forward to reading your posts.

Hi Everyone.

I don't know why I am posting this here but it feels right and Ian said it's OK. This place is kind of like another family to me.

My wife passed away on Tuesday night in Boston. She was 36. We have 3 kids, 14, 12, and 8 years old.

We're all very devastated, of course. But we're hanging in there and the kids have been amazing. I'm also lucky to have several sets of supportive relatives, friends, and colleagues. So we're going to work our way through this eventually.

I just wanted to let you all know.

Dave
im so very very sorry for your loss. words seem so pointless when somebody loses someone so important to them. may god watch over you and yours and ease your pain.

Prayers for you and your family, Dave.

Dave,

I was absolutely horrified and devastated when I read your post. From our many conversations over the years, it was always evident to me how much you cared about your wife and your children. You are a strong person and I know that you will find a way to get through this. I have your family in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathies.

Jessica

David

I am so very sorry to hear of your wife's passing. I always like to think that someone is in a better place helping me, but its hard to believe she could ever be in a better place than with you, and the kids. Your such a nice person, strong, and full of life. Threw this devastating time I can only be grateful that your children have you to fall back on. They are truly blessed for that. I am so very sorry David for you and your family.

So sorry for your devastating loss, PJ. And in this of all weeks. A lot has happened in the last year that puts what we carry on about here in perspective. Keep your chin up and know that while it will never be quite the same you still have them and they have their dad and in time, it will get better. Kids are resiliant - but seek counseling for and with them, it truly helps to be able to talk it out over time. Life does go on, even though it's awefully hard to imagine how it can at this time. Deepest condolences to all of you.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you and your family. I know I don't really know you but sometimes confiding in a stranger is helpful. You can PM me if you want to talk, vent, or whatever.
