If you saw the way LeBron and the Heat played tonight you wouldn't be saying that trust me. The East is a cake walk for them and i wish them well to get a championship, the hate LeBron gets is very undeserved.

Just remember the Celtics got their own big 3 a few years ago and Wade, James and Bosh just followed their blueprint.

I expected the Heat to dismantle NY, so I'm not worried yet. Boston will be ready to play if they face Miami.

I'm not sure how I feel about this pick, we like our white receivers smurf sized, at 6ft he's really not quite in the smurf range anymore. I'm not sure he's going to fit in.

His write-up says 5'10, so is that closer to 5'9 or 5'11. I think he is in the surf ballpark if it's the former.

Does Ebert have experience returning kick offs?

EDIT: Never mind; NE Patriots Draft says "If you were looking for a return man, Ebert isn’t that. He only returned five kickoffs for 88 yards during his career."

Yeah, and Edelman was an outstanding punt returner at Kent State. . . .

Patrick Edwards is the Wes Welker clone. Including being a walk-on and returning kicks and punts for Houston.

Ebert is faster than Welker (4.38-40 compared to 4.61- 40). Welker had the better short shuttle, but Ebert the better 3-cone (6.70 to 7.09)

Ebert also have very limited experience as a kick returner, having only 5 returns for 86 yards..

Ebert is more Deion Branch than Wes Welker..

I'll take that.

Kevin Kasper begs to differ. ;)

Jesters up......so does sexy rexy get his binky Burfict ?

Pro-day measurement was 5'10 6/8".. So closer to 5'11 than 5'10

Jeremy Ebert

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! someone to fill the Bam Childress camp binkie void.....

Yes, but you did not see KG making a special on ESPN all about himself, or Boston's big three having a victory party declaring they are winning 8+ titles. The Heat are very easy to dislike.

Trust me.....If KG could have gotten a chance to get his own "television special" to announce where he was going to play next......he would have salivated over it!!!

Ebert Ebner and Fonzie. It's a wrap.

Ebert can play. He's not just a track guy. I wouldn't be shocked if he beats Edelman out as Welker's backup.

Now I hope Bill signs at least 5 OG free agents ... old school way of building line depth and all we need is one more.

Jets take Antonio Allen

Going to have to strongly disagree. I think you're underestimating LBJ's massive ego here.

Ebert is more Deion Branch than Wes Welker..

Ebert has been a slot receiver in Northwestern's offense. Like Welker at Texas Tech. Not like Deion Branch.

If I recall correctly, Deion Branch hated being the slot receiver up in Seattle.

Just watched the tape on him at youtube and I would say more like Welker.

Jeremy Ebert Part 3 - YouTube

He is #11

Didn't line up once on that video outside the numbers.

Money with SeaFlops or Rings with Pats....he chose.

Jets up again......Come on Rexy take Burfict. He'd fit in with Jesters perfectly
