Kid is a beast, i cannot believe he was still there at 7! Only the arrest stopped him going high but otherwise he was gone A LONG time ago.

Fantastic pick and looking forward to seeing him play.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Great pick for the 7th rd.

Best value of the entire draft by far, imho.

Can everyone pretend we got Dennard in the 2nd, and Wilson in the 7th, and stop complaining? Thanks! :)

This is a huge steal, he has the talent to compete for a starting job in TC.

Honestly this is our best pick in my opinion. He is Cortland Finnagen in the making.. This pick will be something BB is praised for over the 5 years!

Sounds like a unanimous YES from the board, ME LIKEY.

Read the brief blurbs on a few draft pages on the web re Dennard, whats the deal with his run in with the law?

Typical scuffle between drunkards that inadvertently led to this genius punching a cop who was trying to intervene and stop the altercation. :)

And he hit a police officer too..............

Where I come from thats an instant fan favourite.

Not sure what kind of football IQ this kid has, but punching a cop on the week of the draft doesn't speak to highly of his regular IQ though. He looks like he's a beast though and a super steal at a 7th.

Hope he works out........ and if he doesn't........ oh well, it's just a 7th. This pick is full of win.

Unless we're going to let him get really really drunk before games it probably has no impact on his on-field decision making.

He seems to be a man with bellicose tendencies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as this team needs some fiery characters.

Dennard, who is expected to remain in jail through the weekend, was ejected from the 2012 Capital One Bowl for fighting with South Carolina receiver Alshon Jeffrey.

If you are willing to fight a cop you are willing to fight in camp. The kids are calling it Swagger I think.

So, what do you get for punching a policeofficer ? Jailtime I presume ?

Emphasis with these DB picks on big hitters ...
Bill is looking at having a very, very, very physical dime package this year and i love it.

After the last few years of seeing our DB's look like pinballs it will be a fine sight to see.

Anyone who is even 10% soft will be gone from our secondary.

Phil Steele who is a well known College Football analyst and publisher put Dennard on his First Team defense in 2011 preseason.

That pretty much speaks highly on this kid....Maybe will be another regular 7th round player on defense like Deaderick
