If Minnifeld is there at 235 hopefully Bill takes the flyer. Put him on PUP let him get healthy.

So....help me out. Why is Dennard a shocker? Character issues?

He was charged with a 3rd degree felony about a week before the draft. He fell like a stone because of it as well. Doesn't exactly scream Patriot player, but its hard to argue with that value. It's a very interesting pick.

Our very own Janoris Jenkins.

Still some surprising guys on the board:

Mike Brewster
Eric Page
Jeff Fuller

I've figured it out. The Patriots hung their draft board up on the wall upside down.

Could be due to the earth's magnetic field flipping in 2012.....we trade up twice in 1st round figures

so will he spend time in prison or get a slap on the wrist?

He was drafted by the Patriots, so you know that if he goes to prison, he'll be captain of his cell block.

Are they gonna draft Burflict at 235?:D

Reiss just tweeted that Belichick personally worked out Dennard in March when Belichick was at Nebraska for a football clinic..

Yeah. They thought they were trading back, wondered where all their picks had gone and panicked into making sure they drafted their obligatory special teamers.

Wow. Thanks Dennard for punching that cop last week.

Exactly.. That harebrained (hopefully one time mistake) dropped him 5 rounds. Compares with Prince Amukamara. Is a heady player, otherwise.

I don't see why not, as long as he doesn't kill any of our players in practice with dirty hits!

Hell... Brewster... we could use a young interior offensive lineman. And Brewster could have been a 2nd or 3rd.

Someone thought it would be a good prank to break into the war room friday morning and flip it on them...then they Ron Burgundy'd it.

3rd degree? Simple assault?

Did he punch the Cop or use harsh language?

He's just going to be BB's *****...."Is that a bar of soap on the floor Alfonso"

Alfonzo Dennard has a 2nd to 3rd round grade. That my friends caps this draft off very very nicely.

He will be facing some time tho, assaulting an officer isn't your run of the mill weed charge.

My guess would be he pleads guilty and gets probation. Pretty sure it is the first time he was ever arrested.

Stallworth killed someone driving drunk and got 30 days and only served 24 hours of that sentence.
