What is your prediction for Lloyd this year?

Instead of facing people like Revis, Webb, Bailey, and Joseph like he would of in Denver/St. Louis being the #1 WR, he'll be facing:

Antonio Cromartie, Jimmy Smith, Chris Harris, and Kareem Jackson.

I love Deion, but I expect Lloyd to really take advantage of these #2 CBs around the league unlike Deion ever could.

I agree that I see lloyd at around 800 ish yards and 60 catches about. The guy will make some deep catches this year and be able to hold on to the ball. His handling skills are insane. He'll be successful. If he gets less than 800, than im sure youll see someone else's number just blow through the roof as a result of him taking the top of the defense. Not as bad as randy used to but defense will have to respect him. Thats how i see it playing out this season.

unlike chris chambers, lloyd makes the regular catches as well as the exceptional unbelievable catches

lloyd is going to have a monster year for you guys

not randy moss monster year, but he's going to have numbers that are wayyyyy better than what his salary is

Those are my general expectations for him. Just to make the offense more effective. I'd be suprised if he goes over a 1000.

about the same stats that branch put up last year 50 rec 700 yards 5 TD's

I don't expect Brady to even sniff 5,000 yarHe mgain this year.....I think the receiving corps will have a good overall season but I see Brady with about 3,800 to 4,400 yards at the MAX

I think with the fullbacks aboard we will see more ground this season, unless Ridley and Vereen suck, then its back to Air Brady...I also see the defense a bit better which will help in not having to force Brady to throw for 300 yards and 4 TDs to win.

Given the focus Bill has placed on WR's and TE this off season I don't know how you can assume that. I hope and believe the RB's augmented by a fullback will top last season's unit production by 3-400 yards but mostly I hope they are simply better equipped to pick up short yardage in critical situations. Brady will indeed sniff 5K again in part based on the schedule and in large part because he can and that is what the league is increasingly geared towards. He may well have a 400+ yard performance in London alone. It's more likely his passing TD's are decreased if we are more consistently able to score on the ground, although getting in position to will likely still rest on his arm moreso than anything.

As for Lloyd I would anticipate less yards than if he were a classic #1 here since he will be the #2 WR and probably 3rd or 4th target much of the time but he will be targeted deeper than most of the other targets much of the time. Maybe 900 or so yards on 60+ catches and 6-8 TD's barring injury to him or any of the other weapons.

Ding, ding Mo nails it.

If current NFL defenses are not readily equipped to defend two TE offenses, it should make one wonder how they attempt to contain this monster.

This could be exponention by addition. The key should be Stallworth. If Lloyd and Stallworth provide true verticle ability with Lloyd's route running and Stallworth's YAC capability combined with personnel packages and formations; it's hard to fathom a defense.

The first half of the year could be absolute montrous as defenses attempt to cope without any tape.

He will score the game winning TD in this years SB :rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker:

Some folks will say he shouda gotten the SB MVP but Tommy is the landslide favorite for his 3rd MVP.

New England Patriots Receiving Projections:
Welker 110 Receptions 1400 yards
Lloyd 75 Receptions 1100 yards
Gronkowski 80 Receptions 1200 yards
Hernandez 65 Receptions 800 yards
Ochocinco 35 Receptions 680 yards
Stallworth 25 Receptions 380 yards
Fells 20 Receptions 260 yards
Vereen 25 Receptions 250 yards
Woodhead 30 Receptions 300 yards

we're gonna have a pretty bad defense if Brady's throwing 6,300 yards

Assuming a 67% completion percentage that's only an average of 43+ throws a game for a 35 year old QB...

Brady isn't slowing down, when you have weapons you use them. In 2010 Peyton Manning set the record for most games with 40 or more passing attempts with 10 games, and he averaged 42.4375 attempts.

What are you guys thinking stats wise for this guy?

Stats don't matter to me.

All that matters is my prediction that he will be the credible deep threat this team has lacked since Moss lost his mojo, and that the offense will feature a wider diversity of threats than seen on the 2007 squad.

That very likely will be the difference between making it to the Super Bowl and winning it.

The offenses that most confound defenses are those that spread the ball to all options, short, mid deep, and adequately mix in the run.

By definition, players on those teams are less likely to be the stat leaders in the NFL.

6,000 yards passing. That would be quite the sight! :)
I'm going to guess we draft doug martin at 31 and go for more like 5,000 passing and 3,000 rushing! :)

For Lloyd I predict he is capable of 1,000 yards and 6 TDs in this offense. Maybe better. but the TEs will still get a significant chunk of the production. his main contribution will be to lengthen the field so the secondaries can't just compress on welker and our tight ends.

And then his neck fell apart. Good game sir.

When you look our YAC capability, it should be muchless attempts.

This level of talent eclipses Green Bay and New Orleans.

Thats 6350 passing yard, and Ridley doesn't have a catch.

I'd say Ridley is good for 10-15 catches as well, and one of the full backs 5-10 catches. Edelman will be mostly on D but will line up across from Welker in the second slot in a few spread formations. Slater will have 5 receptions with 30 yards per reception. Brady will throw for 6000 yards, Mallet for 250ish and Hoyer for 150ish. Pats are going to blow out opponents so BB will put Mallet in to evaluate him, Hoyer will go in the second half with the Pats up by a comfortable lead as a personal favor to help his FA stock.
