:rocker:

This might not be important to some of you, but it's important to me as a fan. He hasn't been at Gillette recently. I'm glad he is there this offseason. There are a lot of new faces on the team. This is a good opportunity for everyone to get to know each other.

I've understood why Brady has skipped these and stayed out west in the past few years. He has an obligation to his family.

But selfishly, this is a relief to me. I needed to know that Brady took the Super Bowl loss and took that already borderline unhealthy obsession he has with getting another ring - and turned it into motivation and something positive.

Knowing how I reacted, I was worried that a guy his age, who had accomplished everything he had already, kind of might go the other way. From the moment Plaxico Burress caught that pass in Glendale, there has been tunnel vision focus from this team - and heck, it's fans - and maybe that even started with Peyton beating us the year before. I couldn't help but worry if the unprecedented level of pressure, motivation and desire that these guys have had since then would dissipate, and maybe even undo them.

But, I suppose that's why he a mentally tough champion athlete and I sit here and write stuff on messageboards. :D

The clock ticks, and Brady gets focused... nice.

Good, I feel a lot better. His wife and kids drive him crazy as well.

His wife was as pissed as him about losing. She probably made him go to the workouts :rocker:

x2. You don't become the richest supermodel if you're not pissed about losing.

Agreed and not to open that whole kettle of fish again, but i liked what Gisele said when she first said it and I still like it now.

While the butts Ms. B has had to kick to get to the top of her profession were admittedly a whole lot prettier than the butts the Pats have to kick week-in-and-week-out for Tommy to win, we should never forget that she had the competitive juices to do what she had to do to get to the top of one of the most cut-throat professions in the world.

Gisele rocks.

This is why I never like the comparisons of Gisele to Yoko Ono. Yoko would not have had John Lennon working out with the Beatles, she'd have been telling him he's good to go and let's make another album of our intimate moments.

Well said. Yoko Ono was a non-talent who exploited Lennon and his legacy to strong arm people into advancing her "career."

Gisele is the real deal in her own right, independent of Brady and virtually anyone else. She knows that hard work alone makes success. She has far too much respect for success to want to do anything to damage a successful operation, be it a rock group or a sports team.

Bundchen is the daughter of middle class parents who used her talent and drive to rise to the top of a very difficult, entertainment-oriented profession and make a fortune. Remind you of anyone else?

Not to burst anyone's bubble while in a happy mood but it's April, he's always around in April around Patriots Day. The "voluntary" off season conditioning program commenced a month later than it used to this year due to rules in the new CBA. Brady always got his work done and his workouts here in, even though some felt he was slacking off because he wasn't here March 15th or every day thereafter. The workouts were always limited to 4 (half) days a week for a 3-4 hours and most workout bonuses paid out at 80-90% attendance or so. Probably still will only now the workouts are 12-16 days fewer and commence a month later.

I read somewhere that Bill gave them all next week off, not because he's going soft but because there was some issue with the number of days out you can be from OTA's and camp and the weeks weren't matching up... They haven't gotten to the time when coaches can even be involved or present while players are working out. That doesn't happen for another week or so. This week was simply working with the trainers on conditioning and I believe QB's and WR's were allowed to play unsupervised catch...

Mo, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that he wasn't coming to the offseason workouts at all in recent years. I stand corrected.

I think the reason why Brady is working out at the stadium is to get a quick evaluation of the players on the team before the draft. Do the veterans have anything left (e.g. all the WRs that they signed). Are the young player ready to fill for the veteran's that left (e.g. RB's).

It make me wonder why they brought in all the RB's on Friday.

Honestly, Tom Brady and his commitment are the last things I worry about with this team.

All I know is that with Bridget, Tom was two for two. With Giselle he's 0 for two. Just sayin. :)
