2012 Mock Draft Game Discussion

Sorry guys i got caught out with the time difference, i thought i had until now.

Apologies again.

There are some good players still going in the 4th round here. I may have reached a bit for Audie Cole, but Turbin and Hayward in the 4th are great picks. This game gets harder as we keep moving on.
Wonder what others think about my picks so far for the Browns
1. Claiborne-CB

2. Kirk Cousins-QB
3. Chris Polk-RB
4. Matt McCants-OT
4b. Audie Cole, LB

My gameplan going in was to try and overhaul the offense and also bring some excitement back to the fans with a revamped offense. Claiborne gives Cleveland a top notch cb duo and Cole has versatility to rush the passer from the outside or play inside as he did both in college. I will admit though that running two teams is a bit confusing as I thought I had drafted a pass rush de for the browns already when in fact I did that for the bears.

Well, the draft just changed with the news that Eagles starting LT Jason Peters is out with a ruptured achilles. looks like they are taking an OT rather than ILB now. Good news for Pats Fans that like Keuchly and Hightower. More likely a chance one falls to Patriots at 27.

Just a heads up. Broadwayjoe got the numbers for the last 3 picks messed up. He has them listed as 131,132, and 133 when, in fact, they are 132, 133, 134.

Well, they weren't taking an ILB anyways with the addition of Ryans.
What I find interesting is that some of the reports says that he'll likely be able to play this year.. This is shocking to me since I've always been under the impression that an achilles rupture is at least a 10-12 month recovery. Yet, they're saying he'll be ready by mid-October (8 months).

Thanks for catching that much appreciated. I also would like everyone to know that we will take a break from this draft on April 8th Easter Sunday and pick back up were we left off on Monday April 9th. I will adjust the schedule accordingly.

Kenny Tate LB/S Maryland is not eligible to be drafted because he is going back to School for a 5th year. He applied for a medical hardship and was approved.

He will be in the 2013 Draft.

I wanted to let you know that you are holding up the draft again. I would like for you to PM your future picks to me or bakes781 because we are going much faster than you think we are. We move pretty fast on the weekends so you should check on the draft quite often. I will give you another hour if you have not made a selection or if I have not heard from you we will have to move on. Thanks.

If anyone is having trouble checking to see if a prospect has been selected of not a good way to find out is to go to a page that has the most current list for all the rounds and hit CTRL + F. You can search the page for a prospects name to see if they have been picked.

I've done that too, but what I found worked best is if you hit reply and it shows you hundreds of posts of history and then do a Ctrl+F
