Tebow is a green bean!!!

In all serious. I think this is a desperation move to make them relevant and just stupid.

That's the best way to sum it up. Very desperate move which will likely backfire. Do they really think that locker room is going to respond well or be turned around by Tebow? Bless his heart but it's not going to happen. I thought the Holmes and Sanchez signings were bad, but this is right up there.

Wow, is it just me or is this horrible for all parties involved.

Tebow- A great person IMO, going to a locker room full of d-bags. Plus he wanted to be in Florida according to reports.
Jets - Wasting a 4th for a guy who doesn't really fill any of their obvious needs.
Broncos - You couldn't get more than a 4th for someone you spent a 1st on and a proven winner?
Jags - Seriously why the hell not pony up a 4th or even a 3rd.

I'm seriously confused here

That the jags wouldn't give up a fourth is actually shocking, maybe they don't have a fourth.

i bet hes starting mid season........

Its always great to have your backup quarterback be one of the most popular athletes in the country. WFAN is already a total circus.

All I can say is that the national nightmare, also known as the "Tebow to the Pats Rumor" is FINALLY over. THANK GOD!

A 2012 4th, 6th and 7th per LaCanfora...

Where's the pool on what week fans start clamoring for him to start over Sanchez. My money is on week 1.

the tension it will cause in the locker room will be glorious. And Rex thought last year was a train wreck.

Wow. Didn't the Rats just sign Sanchez to an new contract? Talk about a total freaking mess right now this team is in. I'm loving it.

lol, Jets so desperate from locker room comradery that they get Tebow so he can lead them in pre-game prayer group. Tebow, Sanchez, and Rex Ryan...talk about strange trio.

Sanchez now knows what the coach and front office really think of him.

It just makes it even more hilarious that after striking this horrible deal they randomly decide yeah we'll throw in our 6th for your 7th

Agreed, although this would have been one of the few places he could go and not cause a stir. GB being another. Nobody would put up billboards to replace Brady or Rodgers with him. Not like he'd really have a spot with the Pats, so I'm happy that media circus won't be heading our way.

NY is probably the worst place for him to go. He either needed to go to a team that would put him as a starting QB, or guaranteed bench / role player. To put him on a team with an already shaky QB is very dumb on the Jets part.

Either make Sanchez your guy or get rid of him. How can a QB feel comfortable when he has to look over his shoulder at his own team, let alone the opposition?

Rich Cimini is actually the voice of reason in NY on this. Who would of thought. He has an excellent piece of his reaction to this news and how it is a horrible idea;

Rapid reaction: A logic-defying move - Jets Blog - ESPN New York

That's an excellent article and sums up pretty well, every single thing that's wrong with this trade.

Just amazing how the Jets manage to shoot themselves in the foot every single time without any help. This is one big PR mess, and being in the biggest media market in the whole world isn't going to help.

I would never trust whoever it was who drafted that guy in the first round!!!!!

.......ooooops.

McDaniels taking the HC job in Denver in 2009 makes a lot of sense now. This has been our plan all along to further destroy the Jersey Jets. Kudos to BB and JMD for this well thought out plan.

Jets fans are ******ed, the second a pick 6 is thrown by Sancheesy, Trump towers billboards will be lighting up with Tebow's name.
