Is no one else hoping we get this guy? Sure he's short (5'10) but he runs probably a 4.3 and has a 40 inch vertical. He's not just a measureables guy either, watch his tape and you'll see he makes a lot of spectacular catches

Sorry to be "that guy" here, but this should probably go on the draft forum. And if you are going to start an entire post on one college prospect, how about a little more insight, like a highlight video, scout's assessment, etc.

We'll see how you do at the combine Kendall ... so you are your own agent?

We all want Kendall but he's probably a top 15-20 pick.

Don't be shocked if he goes top 10. Jaguars will definitely consider him at 7.

I would rather have a taller guy like rueben randle instead of a litte elusive guy...

A guy who can create separation like him is prefereable to a tall guy with average speed. There are plenty of those taller type of guys in the draft, but there is only one real burner with his type of production as a collegian. That person is Kendall Wright. I'm afraid that he will not last until he is even reachable by the Pats.

wrights route running skills are almost non-existent. I would not expect him to be a consistent contributor in the offense for awhile

better off taking devon wylie in round 4

There's no receiver in this draft I'd rather have than him. But barring a flop at the combine, I think he'll be a top 10 pick.

What? His route running skills are why he is rated so high.

Wright isn't just a little elusive guy, he has break away speed, reminds alot of scouts of mike wallace. The guy is a flat out burner. Not to mention he registered a 42 inch vertical at Baylor.

Kendall Wright, Baylor, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

"Still improving as a route runner and needs to do a better job selling his path ? needs to sell slants and in-cuts better."

ProFootballWeekly.com - Draft Prospect - Kendall Wright

"could require patience given the limited route tree he runs at Baylor."

"Is unpolished, has some growing up to do and needs to get bigger and stronger"

he is rated high because of his athletic qualities...I like him, but not in the 1st round

I think you are confusing route running with the ability to run to an open spot when your QB starts to scramble.

If I am carolina, this is my guy, a guy like this could make Newton lethal.

Yeah I'm not sold on Wright as a route runner either...his speed makes up for a lot of things, but the issues with this offense is we don't have a tall and physical guy....

He's projected top 20 because he's a speed freak...we don't need another sub 6' receiver in our offense...the lack of height out wide is our problem...

One man wrecking crew. Reminds of a young Steve Smith but with more speed. He would make Cam Newton down right scary like someone else mentioned. Even he happens to slip by Carolina or Jacksonville he still would have to get by Chicago and Houston who are also looking for receiver help.

this is my point. i prefer guys like the fitz or colston. yes, they have average speed but they catch a ot of jump balls...

No, the problem is that our small guys don't have any speed either, we need a speed guy and a physical guy

Gee whiz guys, how many more weapons does this offense need? We need either a speed guy or a physical guy. We don't have room for both.

I saw on ESPN that he's the second ranked receiver after Justin Blackmon on Mel Kiper's draft board. and the other guy ranked him 4th but he liked him a lot too.

damn. I was hoping he would be more underrated
