not at all......winners pound their chests, losers don't

I didn't say I approve of it, I'm just saying it was fitting because it is what you would expect, like it or not

No.

The Patriots never produced any vitriol after their 3 Supr Bowl victories against any player's wife.

In fact, they never stomped on any losing team's players after their Super Bowls - - unless the player had personally taunted them first - - aka, Freddy Mitchell.

Keep pining for a return of the "glory days" when Billy Sullivan owned the team. You seem to have a real preference for that.

she absolutely does have the freedom to say whetever she pleases........but along with that freedom comes the freedom of response. that's life.....if you act like an idiot in public, you get treated like one (not saying she was an idiot.....just a euphemism)

no...you're calling her an idiot...you ARE insane...what else can any sane person construe from this statement..if you act like an idiot in public, you get treated like one...this is pretty much straight forward calling her an idiot...otherwise why would you even print these words? Are you confined to Bridgewater or what?

At last you speak from genuine experience...

Considering that I had similar sentiments to what Jacobs said when I heard her quote about the Pats' receivers, I can't complain too much that he said it. Not his place to remark, but she really shouldn't have thrown the receivers under the bus. Wasn't her place to.

They would have, had we taken care of business Sunday night.
If you believe that if the Giants had lost that they'd have shut up, I've got a bridge for sale and, for a few extra bucks, you can have the water that runs under it, to boot. Naive as a new-born...

First off, the giants will be irrelevant next season...second, I like Giselle, she's badass.

what do you expect? the world loves to see things like this happen to the pats......the price for consistent success......

guys like ryan get laughed at........the more you succeed, the more pointed these things become.

the reason why the giants won't be as hated is because the year after they win the SB, they don't even make the playoffs....they don't stay good long enough to earn to be hated nationally

....truth....

I don't really care what they said anymore, but it is funny that some of their most mediocre players do the most trash talking like Brandon Jacobs and Antrell Rolle. Most of their stars don't talk nearly as much.

Well, they may not have shut up completely, but they would have looked quite stupid, mouthing off like this after getting beat, don't you think? They would have been laughed it, even in their own NY media. That was my point. Had they lost, what could they have said, and not look utterly foolish?

I don't like the guy but I agree with Jacobs 100%.

Did Jacobs do much in the Super Bowl?

This is about as sexist as you get.

Wow. You just insulted 50% of the population.

I couldn't disagree more. First, as I stated many times prior to the SB, the myth that the NY media is hard on their teams is the biggest load of BS in sports history. Rather, their media ball-wash their teams. If their teams lose, they may ball-wash them less, but there's still plenty of saliva dripping to the ground. And, as to what they would have said had they lost, the possibilities are endless: the Pats must have cheated again, the refs protected the Golden Boy again, the league wanted Kraft to win for Myra, BB was allowed to play fast and loose with the rules getting McDaniels, the Pats screwed with the down marker at a crucial point, Todd Haley was onto something when he accused Pioli, a BB guy, of bugging his phone in KC etc. etc. etc. It's what the Giants do, they're no different than the Jets or Ravens and it's simply in their DNA.

I understand the disdain for Giselle, she should have kept her mouth shut.
However, as a woman, I have a problem with some dude attacking another man's wife, verbally or otherwise. She is not a football player and she was having a conversation with someone, she was not being interviewed. She might as well leave the country, that's the only way she will be free to speak her mind. That so called freedom of speech does not exist in this country for everyone. Only certain people are allowed to say what they want.
That is very disrespectful, IMHO. If some guy ever said that to me, my boyfriend would beat the **** out of him.

Dude you won the game. Go get fitted for your ring, enjoy the parade and (Please be quiet - edited)!

Fine the Pats deserve to be ridiculed, it comes with the territory when you lose. But going after a man's wife/extended family is over the line, IMHO.

I never had respect for Jacobs and I have even less respect for him now. The man is a coward.

this is what i don't understand. it's not what gisele said that's bothersome. why were these grown men, "joey from the bronx" and whoever, allowed to harrass players wives. what "man" leaves a football game and starts harrassing women. some pats fan should have gone over and blasted this **** in the face. what she said to him is irrelevant. she's not on camera and it's not like she's experienced in "teamspeak" where you don't throw teammates under the bus. besides, she's talking to freakin' "tony from hoboken". who cares what she said ? leave it to espn to totally miss the point and follow the ny way. i guess espn condones men harrassing women after leaving sporting events.

Brady should just show up at his house unannounced and punch him in the face. You don't talk about another mans wife or girlfriend.
