I think if this was ocho and branch everybody would be yelling to cut them.

I find this positive. Beating themselves up doesn't do any good. I would rather get tanked up, pick out the hottest groupie and mourn that way. Start getting ready for next season. But Gronk and Light dancing shiftless is a bit odd.

I thought there were girls in the picture but I guess not.

Matt Light has 3 rings and Millions in the bank. Like he gives a Rats azz about losing another SB, or about the NEP fanbase being suicidal after another loss to Goober Jr. in SB

Gronk is well gronk, still thinking this is Arizona campus.

Welcome to Sports all you blinders-on fools. PT Barnum said it well....

On a last note, there are very few player nowdays who are in it for wins, championships, legacy......money is not their driving force.

Kobe
Brady
Jeter

And by the way Kobe and Jeter have lost plenty of times too. Doubt any mediots will say it has tainted their legacy

then you have likes of LeFraud James, AFraud and vast majority

this seems so un "patriot way"

Here's why I don't care: I've been in a similar situation.

After over a decade of trying, I got a chance to appear on Jeopardy! (No, I won't say when.)

I could have won (and probably would have won if I played some of the other shows they taped that day), but it wasn't to be.

What did I do afterwards? I went out to dinner with the guy who won.

If they want to party after the game, that's fine with me.

I really couldn't care less. Does this change the fact that they lost? No. I already know they were broken up about it. They can do whatever they want, it doesn't affect me. I'll still be depressed because they lost the game, and not for any other reason.

Ok, you went to dinner with your Jeopardy opponent...

That isn't exactly dancing shirtless with him.

Agreed. I think that after the season they've been through there are a huge range of emotions but I'm absolutely certain none of them were happy they lost. This doesn't bother me at all.

They lost a friggin game - a sport they get paid >20x what average Joe earns in a year, big deal if they decided to let loose after 2 weeks of pressure and media hounding and curfews.

Agree....Its not like someone died, c'mon people !

if the giants would have lost , you guys would have ripped them if they celebrated afterwards

that's my thought on it

and if somehow the jets had got to the sb and celebrated after a loss

yeah, it would have been the biggest topic on this board, easily, and you'd be seeing "this is why the jets aren't a legit team" type stuff

celebrating right after a huge loss....very very weird

Obviously, no.

My point is, they're not moping around. I really don't want to know why Light is shirtless, but, other than that disturbing sight, I see nothing wrong with this photo.

All I could say is **** them all. They don't deserve to party, they are losers. Only winners should party after a WIN. You think the ******* Ravens partied after the loss in the Afccg ? **** them all, party back in Boston a few weeks after the loss. **** them all the no class losing ************s. I now officially hate any of those who partied while I sit here sick to my stomach. **** em all.

Could you please make more sweeping generalizations about our fan base?

I rather see this, 07 was different that season was a historic loss.......this team will rebound. the only people I want mourning are welker and branch for all those drops.

"All those drops" ? The one to Welker was high and not where he expected it to arrive (due to Brady's left shoulder injury after the Tuck hit).. it was catchable but even Michael Irvin said it was an "incredibly difficult" catch to make. The one to Branch was tipped and there was a Giants defender in front of Branch, making that one incredibly difficult.

Bottom line - these are all very difficult catches and credit to Manningham for making his catch .. it is very much like the incredible Tyree catch.

What can I say ? Eli is lucky - he throws it up for grabs and his receivers bring it down - somehow. Of course, he is a good QB and begrudgingly, I now grant him the status of "Elite" but behind Rodgers, Brees, Brady

Do I like it? Not really, but they prob went out, miserable, had a few and realized, "lets tie one on and drown out our sorrows". I know I did!! :(

I am not a sore loser but the Giants got all the breaks. The Giants are a good team and they are lucky. Welker makes that catch more often than not. He was in position with 2 hands on the ball. Was he twisted around? yes but that ball was lofted in the air and it hit him in both hands. The Giants really are so lucky to win the SB not just in our game but in 3 of the play off games they played.

The only thing that really disappointed me about the SB loss was the Brady safety on the first Patriot possession. Tom has to keep his emotions in check he is to fired up when these games start.. he is such a competitor but he loses his mind a little bit when these big games start. He really needs to work on his composure in the off season.. I think the guy just puts to much pressure on himself. That play pretty much costed us the SB along with Welkers drop.

I just don't remember photos of Brett Keisel and Heath Miller dancing together after losing to the Packers last year.

I mean, you just lost the biggest game of the year, the reason you play in the NFL. It's completely foreign to me that you would start dancing like Patrick Swayze circa 1987 two hours after such a loss... Sorry, I just don't get it.

I understand going out and having some drinks, getting around a variety of people...But dancing shirtless is a sign that you're a happy person.. Having a great time.

Bizarre to do something like that immediately after losing the Super Bowl.

There is no right or wrong way to react losing a SuperBowl. However, it does highlight the difference between this team and the team we had when we won all those big games. For some reason, I can't see Milloy, Vrabel, Harrison, Bruschi, McGinest, Seymour, Phifer, Hamilton, Troy act this way after losing a big game, nevermind a SuperBowl.

Gronk was loosening the ankle for next weeks game vs Giants
Light was practicing the turnstyle whiff move against JPP, Tuck et al

ah heck, could not resist. meh, whatever fancies them. Pats season was over, they could do whatever they wanted to

By the way.....HOW EXACTLY DO WE KNOW THIS WAS AFTER THE SB, NOT ONE OF THOSE DURING THE WEEK PLAYBOY OR MAXIM PARTY
