Why we can't beat the Giants..... simple.

The Giants are a better team. You're play calling isn't very good and Brady never plays well in big games.

If that's true then Eli never plays well in big games, since Brady's performances in Super Bowls were better. Don't believe me? Look it up, Brady has the record for completions and yards in a Super Bowl.

So now you're saying Eli never plays well?

Just one more completed pass or one less bad throw, or one fumble recovery and this thread is moot.

The Giants are a better more balanced team than the pats. That being said Eli got a phat contract after a a lousy performance in the 07 SB. Up until this year he hasn't erned a dime of that contract. Up until this year he was an average QB, will see if he can keep his level of play up to the standards he set this year.

You may be right, but I'd take Eli any day now over Brady. I also think Coughlin is a better coach than Bill. He's like Brady in that he always seems to have his worst games in the biggest ones.

Coach BB was thinking too much. He does this a lot. We should have tried to score rather than kill clock. We could have easily beat this team. Too many things went wrong. Thought Brady would come out fired up after the "I sucked" game. He was still inconsistent.

Coughlin is a better big game coach than BB is at this stage of their careers. It's not even debatable. Time to accept that fact.

He also knows BB like the back of his hand, which is another reason these games have been close.

Also, and most importantly, the Giants have drafted circles around NE in recent years. Nicks, Cruz Manningham, JPP, Tuck, Osi, Boley, etc. -- all home grown players.

It's not about the X's and the O's, it's about the Johnnies and the Joes. They're more talented and that shows up when it counts.

Rewind, rewind, rewind. "Welcome to Week 15 of the 2011 NFL Season, where rumors abound that Tom Coughlin will be fired after the Giants' loss on Sunday to the Washington Redskins."

Hernandez, Gronk, Spikes, Mayo, Mankins, Light, Koppen, Connolly, Wilfolk, Chung, etc. - all home grown players.

Welker is one of the best receivers in the game. If Welker catches the ball, you don't make any of these claims this morning. That's how close this game was and how close these teams are.

So you ignore the post that proved you were factually wrong so you could continue with your drivel.

Huh?!? Brady has more playoff wins than any other QB than Montana. Belichick is up there in wins. Both have won three Super Bowls, been to five Super Bowls, won 5 AFC Championships, and been to six AFC Championship games. That is clear defenition of playing your worse in the biggest games.

Seriously, how do you get this? And let's not forget the entire world had Coughlin fired from the Giants a little less than two months ago. Less than two months later, he is better than one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Coughlin a very good coach. Possibly a HOFer. He knows how to beat Belichick, but he still a long way to go to be in Belichick's class. And based on his age, he probably won't get there.

And Brady is piling up the playoff losses. He can't win the big one. He beat a bunch of sub 500 teams in the regular season and plays in a weak division. When he starts facing better teams he struggles. Lot's of picks and few TD's. Plus, I'd take Coughlin over Billy.

Mods, can we ban this douchebag now.

Of course you would, your a Giants fan.

If the Pats are such a bunch of paper tigers, what does that say about the Giants? They barely beat the Pats last night and they sucked. For that simple fact alone, I don't don't know if I would take Coughlin.

The Pats were playing scrubs and WRs in the secondary and got to the Super Bowl. The Giants could bare beat a team that really wasn't a Super Bowl team in the Super Bowl, but Belichick got them there. If Belichick had the Giants' team, he probably win by two TDs.

I am pretty surprised they didn't run more out of a single back shotgun spread. The Giants had trouble all year stopping that.

Still, I have few complaints about the coaching, except for the 12 men on the field penalty, to the extent that was a coaching error, that nullified a turnover. This game was lost on execution, not coaching.

He may be a homer Giants fan, but he hasn't done anything to get banned. I don't care if Giants fans come here and are respectful even if they are saying homeristic crap.

BB did waste a challenge. just saying

There's no team we can't beat. We went toe to toe with them in each matchup, they just made the key plays while we continuously failed in the clutch. Outside of a few key 3rd down conversions and the TD to Woodhead before half, the Giants made pretty much EVERY key play while we failed.

They're just more clutch than we are. How to fix? God knows.

He beat a bunch of sub .500 teams?

Patriots won 7 game against sub-500 teams.
They won 15 games altogether this season, and only 7 were against sub. 500 teams.

They also played the NFC East and went 3-1.

Piling up the playoff losses? What? He has the best playoff winning % in history.

Multiple Super Bowl records for passing.

As usual, your facts are wrong. And you don't admit it, which is worse.

Who's fault is it that the Pats have scrubs or that the they didn't belong in the SB? Isn't Bill responsible for the roster?

It's a question however as to whether they would have had two defenders on Cruz to strip the ball if there were only 11 men on the field. Having 12 men is an advantage, obviously.
