Re: Once again... for the 5th time... CAN WE GET A PASS RUSH PLEASE???!

I wanted Peppers when the Bears got him
And I've always wanted to sleep with Heidi Klum. You can't always get what you want...

Re: Once again... for the 5th time... CAN WE GET A PASS RUSH PLEASE???!

Are people saying there was a pass rush in the 4th quarter? I was drunk, but honestly don't remember a single pressure other than Ninko on the offsides. There were no sacks. Vince was just doubled into oblivion.

Time to trade up and get the BEST young talent

What's the point in collecting picks like a trading card game Bill? You put Brady under Center for the Giants with those receivers and he walks all over our helpless secondary and LB corps which highlights what we need - stud WR's to go along with the best TE's in football that we already have and PLAYMAKERS on D.

The fact is you have one of the best QB's already and that is an advantage over nearly every team in the league, all you have to do is draft a sick playmaker in the first and then get the best in each round available. It seems like recently all we're doing is collecting a pool of decent players by trading picks around in abundance rather than standouts with Aaron and Gronk being the exceptions 2 years ago.

Not every 6th rounder can be Tom Brady so stop hoping they will Bill and go get some studs.

The acadamy award for best impersonation of Nick Kacur goes to..... Nate Solder.

Had a tremendous year and is going to be a stud, but man he sucked tonight.

How about some specific examples?

Even the best defensive lines are going to have trouble getting pressure in the 4th when they are on the field so much.

I simply don't agree with this.

Re: Time to trade up and get the BEST young talent

Trading up is not always the best thing. People want to trade up to get the shiny Ferrari, but what if that turns into a lemon. For every can't miss prospect who pans out, there are two or three who bust out.

I don't know if trading down is the answer, but trading up isn't always the answer too. In 2008, everyone wanted the Pats to trade up to get the sackmaster stud in Venron Gholston and the smart move ended up being trading down for Jerod Mayo.

Trading up just to trade up is not a smart draft method. If there is a guy you absolutely love, then yes. Just because the talent is supposably better higher, it is just stupid.

That Wes Welker drop was the game, when I saw that I knew it was going to come back to haunt us. We could have put the game away right there and let it slip through our fingers. Sorry Wes, you're a great player, but you should have had that. Brady's INT was a momentum killer as well. Defense held their own. This team is predicated on the offense scoring more than 17 measly points.

THE key play to the last four minutes of the game...he HAS to make that catch...it hit his hands...he makes that catch 99 out of 100 times...I'll be having bad dreams of that one for a few days

Can someone explain that stupid bomb Brady threw up for the INT? How can you throw that ball knowing what happened JUST TWO WEEKS EARLIER in the Ravens game?

The second he released it I knew it was going to be a pick.

Individually
BB waited 2-3 plays too long to give up that TD
Welker dropped a pass
Branch dropped a pass
Hernandez dropped a pass
Gronk was used as a decoy and slowed up at the goal line on the hail mary
Mankins--If I had my drothers I would have traded him years ago. He simply cant play in a big game and his play makes Brady nervous for good reason
Brady--I think its time we put up stats BEFORE he was married and AFTER he was married and compare them to Larry Bird
Offense a season low 17 points
NO good safety play
NO pass rush
Overall a successful season but too many holes and not enough play makers.

Heidi is single, line forms behind me!

I cant believe all I read. Ridiculous and stupid comments. Look at the situation with perspective. Who was the best player of the 2012 Patriots? Gronkowski. And our best player was ineffective tonight. A healthy Gronkowski would have been the MVP of this Superbowl. Brady Loss à great weapon. Wich target do you prefer? Welker, woodhead or Gronk? Small target=risky throw. Stop blame Brady or Welker. We play without our best player...

I disagree...it's not before he was married it's before his first postseason loss. Ever since then he has found new and spectacular ways to lose in the post season.

True enough. Once the Giants figured out Gronk was just a decoy they doubled Hernandez and Welker and we didn't score another point. He probably would've made the difference. Just a bad break.

He was channeling his inner Brett Favre just like he did in the AFC championship game against the Ravens.

The simple fact remains the same. When the playcalling is in balance, we win. When it isn't, we lose.

Tonight:

Pass: 41 Runs: 19

BJGE has exactly 10 carries, one more than he did in last year's loss against the Jets.

Where was Ridley? Why did he get 0 reps?

Also why did we go empty when the Giants had their 3 safety packages on the field?

That happened quite a few times.

A lot of questions and no answers.

I'm pretty much at a loss. I thought we'd end up honoring MHK, yet that's baby ass face manning with the **** eating grin up there on the stage.

Wow.. just wow..

Big Fail.

Awful heartbreaking loss and I'm bitterly disappointed with this loss.

I'm also bitterly disappointed with the thread titles that I saw here when I got on. Some of you fellow Patriots fans are acting like 2nd graders.

If you want to vent do it on this thread. Please stop embarrassing yourself and this board. Just post your rants here.

Thanks.

LT cries.
Rex Ryan cries.
PATRIOT FANS DO NOT !!! SUCK IT UP AND MOVE ON.

It felt like the Patriots learnt nothing from the previous Superbowl on offense. That said, if the receivers execute and didn't drop catchable balls we don't have this discussion.
