Stop with this brady is not clutch crap .The only difference between Eli and Brady is that his receivers made plays for him. The ball that brady threw to wes was better no worse than the one eli threw to tyree the only difference is that tyree made a play for his qb , and wes did not.

And another thing, if they want to keep Brady as QB, they had better put together a better running game. The Backs were not used ENOUGH. Aging QBs need running games. BOB good luck and good riddance. Your play calling cost us this game, IMHO.

I agree.
But,
Congrats to the Giants. They made the plays when they had to.

This was the kind of game the Pat's would have normally put away at the end.
The Welker drop really hurt.
A stronger running game there would have been nice.

Hope they strengthen this in the off season.

And congrats to the Pats for a great season.

Brady actually had a couple clutch throws in his final drive, but the Patriot receivers are not as clutch as he is and dropped most of them.

No way, that's on Welker. The ball was on his hands. Brady played well today, but whereas Manning's receivers actually make plays and make him better, Brady's receivers make him worse. Healthy Gronk and Hernandez are their only guys who can make a play. The rest rely on Brady being pretty much perfect to be effective.

Sorry no way. Easy wide open throw. Should be right on the numbers

You guys keep calling it the Branch Drop. The guy deflected the ball right in front of Branch. Hard to call that a drop. Welker should have made what would have been a terrific catch but he ran a great route and Brady did not fit the ball in a space 15 yards wide.

The Hernandez drop was a drop but the game was gone by then.

Ya' wanna point to one player...Tom did not get it done. Sorry just the way it is.

Worst SB in awhile. Maybe one or two great plays for the Giants. We sucked and at the end of it all, Tom really let this one get away. I can't blame Welker for not making a great play when all it would have taken from Tom was a very average play.

The throw might have been high but those are routine catches for him.

Not it was not a routine catch, Welker is not a jumper. That pass was thrown too high.

Remember.. stay classy guys and gals.

It's so frustrating to take though, I feel we could of destroyed them today. Feel sorry for you guys in the US though having to listen to the bullsh*t media for the next few weeks, the media here in the uk don't seem to give a ****

This hurts as much as any loss I can remember. The bottomline is, without Brady's vapor lock mistake to start the game, the Patriots probably win; the Giants might not even score in the first half. Without Brady's ridiculous heave with the expectation that his CRIPPLED TE will make a play, the Patriots might put together a constructive drive that puts them well ahead in the 2nd half. I don't know whether Brady is clutch or not, and yes he did have two spectacular drives tonight, but let's be honest: he did **** the bed when it really mattered tonight. Those errors and the Welker drop are huge, team or not.

As for what happened on the last drive, who cares. There was next to no chance they were going to pull it out.

We could also point to Belichick's challenge of the Manningham catch, but at that point things were out of control.

Who knioows they theyll get back to this game again...brady f-d his team with theat wawful interception./././tuornovers win games lilke this...thanks tom....wow....pats are a soft, non mentally tought tough team

Love my Pats, but I feel inconsolable right now.

this is just too much. i cant take this feeling. i dont even want to like football passed thru my mind. why cant wes catch that f*ckin ball. brady and his mistakes. i love the PATS w/ all my heart, but its broke right now. it may sounds stupid. it is so f'n hard to get to this game. ppl wanna say retool/draft and lets go back like you buy a ticket. f that easier said then done. you need to conquer when there. hope all of you find something to get thru this w/ fast. my kids will get me. im sad for them also. they just didnt finish.

I hate to admit it as much as anybody but you just can't put this all on the receivers and claim Brady played well enough to win. He was badly outplayed by Eli.

Eli put that pass to Manningham into a spot about 1' square...and that 1' square was the only place the ball could be for Manningham to make that play. Even the former receivers did not think much of the catch but realized the play was the pass.

Brady had a space the size of a Mack Truck to fit that ball in to Welker and flat missed him. Granted you might have expected Welker to have made that play but all it would have taken was an average quarterback play from Brady and that is a catch. So Manningham made a less than spectacular catch of a spectacular throw and Welker did not make a great catch of a ****ty throw.

Then there is the interception which you can't put on the injured Gronk either. Brady knew he was injured. The throw never should have been made. Gronk could not get back to the ball because of his ankle. That made the former school teacher playing him better able to make an athletic play. That throw never should have been made. Have not even talked about the safety yet which is about the worst choke play I have seen Brady make in his entire career.

Hate to say it but the difference is to stark to be ignored. Eli outplayed Tom down the stretch by a wide margin. That difference is the largest in the game....far more significant even than the Pats inability to mount a significant ground attack. Had Tom not made those three critical mistakes, the SB trophy in all likelihood comes back to NE.

^Welker had 2 hands on the ball..sorry, that's on him.

Fine have it your way...he got two hands on the ball. Still does not change the fact that Tom made a crummy throw, a throw that he had 15 yards of room to make and under the same kind of pressure Eli fit the ball into a spot 1' square.

Add to that the safety and that ridiculous throw to Gronk and the point is still the same. Eli outplayed Tom by a wide margin. That was the biggest difference in the game and that is why the trophy is going back to NY.

The Benard Pollard curse has struck again...

Let's be real. He owned Gronkowski. Obliterated and sabotaged him.

It was an okay game, but the Giants manhandled the Patriots. If the Giants had been able to convert those FGs into TDs, it would have been a blow out.

Let's just put it this way...

Eli took what was his. Let's all go buy Eli Manning and Benard Pollard jerseys :rocker:
