Redemption is now.

Unlike what the media is trying to hype, this is not about revenge, what we lost that day we as sports fans as well as Pats fans will never see again. If the result that day was different, instead of being compared to the best football team ever, we would have been named with the 27 Yankees and the 96 Bulls as the greatest team ever. But that is the past, not what today is about.

Today is about the redemption of the greatest QB/HC combo in the history of this great sport. This pair has vanquished many of foes, the vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers, the "Greatest show on turf" the man who many say is the best QB of this era and forced his GM to change the rules to benefit them, even inside of our division, a loud mouth from Jersey (despite the playoff loss last year.) Now from the depths of Jersey, maybe now our greatest rival, and now what will be our greatest conquest. The younger brother of our greatest rival now stands in front of this team, and its chance to regain its place on the top of the mountain. And the funny thing is, just like ten years ago, we are the underdogs, despite what Vegas is saying.

Going into today, we are facing the greatest team in history once again, if you believe the media hype. It feels like 10 years ago when after an epic Super Bowl clash some kicker, can't remember his name said and I paraphrase "Nobody believed in us but us." But much like fateful day 10 years ago, a team from New England is poised to once again shock the world, and shoot another shot in the face of football royalty, both from Jersey and the Manning family.

Redemption begins in about an hour, sit back, enjoy the ride. I think this is why I am so calm and have been calm, because our coaches and our players have prepared this team for what today is, and we will be ready to bring 60 minutes of hard work, knowing what needs to be done today, hopefully ending with a 4th title.

Wilfork is the realest guy ever.

Vince Wil-Fork you up!!!!

False Start on all fans above this post.

5 minutes to go until the programme starts, the world cup of darts is keeping me entertained until then :D

Well written & some excellent points, but it won't shock the world if the Pats win. Most have a close game, and most have actually picked the Pats.

lol Belichick wearing the regular hoodie

Very candid there from Rogers.. we already knew the Gints feign injury to slow the hurry up though.

Really interested to see Gronk's warm up coming up.

Who do I thank for Guyton being inactive? Stand and stir Guyton? Ridley being active and Guyton being inactive has already given me a boner .

So basically Aaron Rodgers just said the Giants are going to fake injuries in a no-huddle situation.

can't wait!

There is no more egregious slap-to-the-face of Sportsmanship than this.
We can hope that those "fake injuries" aren't quite-so-fake.
I'd hate to see the jints' front four go down. ;)

God - I am in my 50's and I am feeling the same way I did in the early 70's before Orr and the B's took the ice in the finals...However, I love the focus, strategy, and the way they are peaking now, unlike SB 42 where there was a feeling of a mentally worn team. Plus, I just love these guys...they are a likable bunch and like I everyone, I love Kevin Faulk, but I like the Ridley move..

Lastly, I hope the D takes a page from the old Detroit Pistons playbook - thay can't call them all. In other words - It is the Super Bowl, I doubt you will see illegal contact calls if the receiver gets chucked say...6-7 yards out. It obvious they are not calling Offensive holding so the D should reciprocate.

as soon as this game is over Im going to unfollow "Rapsheet" so fast ... That dude has gotten so annoying with his non-football nonsense, and his "personal opinions ..

ALL AAABBBOOOOOARRRD AH AAAAAAAHHAAA HA HA!!!!!!!!
:rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker:

Go SeaBass !!!! Kick Some Ass!!!!
