It's way past due for a Super Bowl Stinker game...this might be the one.

It's been a long time since the last Super Bowl Stinker...you know, the kind of Super Bowl where the champagne is on ice and the outcome is inevitable before the 4th quarter even begins.

The last game to fall into the stinker category was 8 years ago when the Buccaneers put away the Raiders in 3 quarters and we all knew the winner by the 45 minute mark.

I think this very well might be the game to end the exciting Super Bowls streak...this game could very well be a sleeper by the 4th quarter.

I think turnovers will be the key to a snoozefest in the 2nd half...look for one of these teams to be coughing up the ball 3 or more times tonight which will lead to the stinker.

excuse me sir... you didn't finish your post.

You forgot the ending, where you reveal that it is the Patriots who will be in complete command of this game by the end of the 3rd quarter ;)

Yeah - by the NY Friggin' Giants. The Patriots got their stinker out of their system in 1986 when they whupped by the Bears.

Aside from the SBTSNBN, the one jewel I've wanted to see added to the Pats' crown is a good old fashioned tooshie-slappin' :D Among other reasons, I don't want to hear any more about TB lacking a signature SB TD drive...

It sure would be nice to just watch the clock tick down. 10 years ago was great, on balance; but the way the Rams tied it up in the blink of an eye had my stomach doing loop de loops and I'm now 10 years older.

I had lived with the stench of 46-10 stinker for awhile until the 55-10 drubbing by SF on Denver that purged the Pats ignominious name from the SB record book.

I watched that game and could only wish that some day, the Pats had their own Montana & Roger Craig.

Well, we have our own Montana and I would love seeing a stinker today at the expense of the G men.

As we say in Texas, the only thing in the middle of the road is yellow lines and dead skunks.

I think this will be close. Not a stinker.

i wouldent mind a 45 to 10 final score personally, as long as its the pats with the 45.

Being able to relax the last 10 mins. of the game would do wonders for my health, I had my nitro pills handy during the Baltimore game. GO PATS!

I really can't deal with another last 2 minute win..A blow-out would be good for my health and will make me a nicer person at work in the AM.

The AFC Championship game took a toll on my mind and body. The last four Super Bowls involving the Patriots have been entertaining as each of them went right down to the end. For this one, I would prefer complete dominance by the Patriots. I don't want the Giants to believe they have any chance of winning while they're on the field.
