if we lose im flipping a car over and burning it. i mean it could happen i doubt it but we just never know

That's real mature. Hopefully you're not drunk and do it to your own car.

In case anybody is still looking, there's a direct flight from Boston to Indianapolis at 1pm on Friday, selling for $176. On Airtran's website.
Pretty much the lowest available at the moment.

Just booked my flight & hotel @ Indy. I'm debating paying through the nose for tickets now ( 3k ) or going down w/o tickets & praying prices drop the last 2 days.

Can anyone offer me some advice?

I would wait - been tracking ticket prices for a week now since we decided to go and there are some seats in the uppers for under 2K now; but think they may be partial obstructed view. Others that aren't obstructed that were going for 2,600 last weekend are now a little over 2K. Just be careful and print out the sections / rows that you would want to avoid. Ironically I found a list on a Giants site!! Getting there Friday morning and plan to start looking around for tickets on Saturday. I would wait until Sunday, but my husband would have a freaking heart attack. Going to shoot for the upper deck / low row - on the Pats side - looking for them to fall to about 1,500 per.

Is a stadium with obstructed views of the field common? This seems slightly deranged to me.

Some info provided by one of our Patriots Tailgate members:

98.5 The SportsHub says they’re having a FREE tailgate party at the Broad Ripple Tavern (745 Broad Ripple Ave) from 4-7 on SATURDAY.

By the way, it's still not too late to join Patriots Tailgate and get in on the email distribution we have going on with lots of info for Pats fans looking to get together over the next 5 days. See the link on my sig below.

Can you e-mail me the link? I don't have enough posts I guess.

Thanks,

Diane

I saw Vince, Bianca and Warren tonight, Vince says hes ready.

Also saw Adam Vinetieri as well. With his wife and kids.

Still looking for lodging. Just me. Thurs, Fri, Sat and possibly Sunday.

If anyone hears of anything 816 215 1502

Thanks

Edit: deal done.

If anyone is seeking lodging call me. I know a Pats fan renting rooms in his house 8 miles from Lucas for $100 per night,

Looking for 1 ticket.

3 days!

Is anyone coming from Cincy or Dayton, OH on Sunday early morning? I am looking to catch a ride with someone on a party bus/limo/taxi/car. I can split gas/tolls/parking/tailgating supplies etc and can meet anywhere in that area.

I have a company rental car, but I'm not covered by my company to cross state lines as "business doesn't require it." I tried to pay for just Sunday (24 hrs) with my own credit card so I can drive it up for the day, but I was told this is impossible (seriously?) and that I would need to make a separate reservation and amen my other one. I feel like I'm talking to Peggy (from the discover commercial) every time I call them. It's infuriating. I've already tried megabus and a few other bus companies, and all of their return trips are either too early or past the time I need to be at work.

So I'm trying to sort this out prior to Sunday, but in the event my situation stays the same, any suggestions?
Worst comes to worst I'll just make another car rental reservation.

I'm staying near the corner of East 14th Street and North Pennsylvania Street, which looks likes it's about 2 miles due north of the stadium.

Does anyone know about this area? Will there be any partying near there, or is it elsewhere? It looks pretty quiet from what I can see on Google street view. Hopefully it's safe at least.

Thanks! I'm flying in tomorrow morning & will most likely get a ticket Sat, like your husband I would be waaaay to nervous waiting until Sunday to get a ticket. Prices really seem to be dropping, one site in particular has around 100 tickets for sale for $1750 each right now :rocker:

How come you don't want to share your newly discovered info? We need more Pats fans at the game!

Service charge of $300-plus per ticket?! What's up with that?! So, a ticket quoted at $1,800 actually costs you more than $2,100. Damn greedy bastards.

Well StubHub charges 10% service fee.

Good news for those waiting it out, seems like today is the first day I noticed a decrease in prices. (I already got a ticket not wanting to risk being left out)

That's not a terrible area by any means. My dad used to own a really cool bar just a bit south of there on Penn & St Joseph called The Living Room Lounge. It's super eclectic, with a really random mix of people.

I've never had a negative experience in that neighborhood.

So I am parked a bit away from the stadium because I wanted reasonable parking. From Market and North New Jersey to the stadium, is it a "safe" walk?
