You have some serious issues with your memory in that case.

I was being sarcastic, should have used one of the emoticon thingies, the difference is the Pats were 18-0 going into that game and beat them earlier in the year, I think they were 13 pt favorites, this is a 13-3 team going against a 9-7 team that beat us in the last minute in the regular season, its pretty even so you think there would be about a 50-50 mix in prognostications instead of the 95-5.

I love it. The Giants are pretty reliable to falter when expected to win.

95-5 is OK....if the logic made sense.

Using the Redskins as the standard for proclaiming the Patriots have zero shot is lil headscratching.

Besides, when did the 32rd rank rushing team become "physical"? Athletic is fine but it's hard to fathom even a dumming labeling the Giants as "physical".

In Green Bay, Manning completes a 10 yard crossing pattern that the Keystone Cops secondary forgets to tackle, Hail Mary, and a four yard completion following a fumble that can only be explained a Matthews thinking the ball was radioactive.......and that defines elite?

The author is totally right.
The Patriots are doomed.

The Giants proved in the Super Bowl tsnbn that their D-line could dominate the Patriots, and they only got better. The Patriots lost Pro Bowlers Neal and replaced him with a street free agent and Koppen and replaced him with an undrafted back-up.
Eli Manning didn't throw any stupid interceptions in the last game.
Cruz is the best slot receiver in football.
The Patriots may well sit their best running back, and if he does play he's almost guaranteed to turn the ball over.
The Patriots are too focused, too 'this is a business,' while the Giants are loose and want it more.
The Patriots have not won a game in a dome in over a year.
The Patriots have lost more playoff games than they have won the past five games.

This team is doomed.

Does it seem that the Giants are taking this week not seriously like we seemed to do back in SB 42? they dont seem all to worried about the pats.

I am happy with that...

NOW LETS CRUSH THEM!!:rocker::rocker:

The funniest thing about it is its all true, the Giants ballwashing is beyond comical, I dont even remember the Pats getting ballwashed in the 08 game as much as the Giants are this week.

Are you kidding? I wouldn't say it was worse than all the love the Giants are getting these last two weeks, but it was very comparable.

edit: you WERE kidding. I suck.

So much **** talk this week, both from the Giants themselves and the NY media, most importantly our players are getting Booed a lot in Indy right now, everytime I watch an ESPN or NFLN show, anytime they metion the patriots name there is the crowd booing, it's not just the giants fans are way more than the pats fans in Indy, it's the unfriendly Colts fans as well. I can't wait for us to put a statement out this sunday, to shut the media up, most importantly to make sure the Indy people boos us LOUNDER the next time we come to town. So much hate aginist us right now it's not even funny, plus the fact that I live in Los Angeles doesn't help either. But if I can remember, the patriots, especially Brady, plays the best when we are the underdogs, I can recall there was a lot of this kind of hate toward us before the Eagles superbowl as well...

abandon all hope, sarcasm at its finest. Apparently alot of cowboys, redskins and eagles fans are hoping that the giants win as well... how you can hope that your arch rival wins is beyond me. people can keep hating because they will be hating all the way to baseball season. This is gonna be a fun game, very excited!

Good article, had a laugh, makes me feel better about the game...

Exactly. Well done I laughed several times. The media has gone a little over board with the Giants.

Hopefully this is going to the heads of the giants players and fans so they become overconfident in the "guaranteed win" situation.

Over confidence is a killer.

Read that on my iphone during lunch today. Had a couple of good chuckles sitting in my truck.

really great read thanks!! Very funny

I love being the underdog!!

This article really hit the nail on the head. Huzzah! :rocker:

Viva la Jerry!

I wish I remember where I read the article about the Patriots having zero chance while referencing the Redskins game. Apparently, the Redskins blowing out the Giants the next week didn't really mean anything.

What's even more odd is the Patriots are the bigger, more physical team. My guess is the certified effort to not comprehend how completely dominated Baltimore was physically....... maybe it means Baltimore sucks now?

Couldn't you tell how bad the Ravens are when they played the 49ers, the ball wasn't even in Alex Smith's hands before Ngata was on him, it looked like a pro team vs college. And staying with the sarcasm, the Ravens were not lucky when Brady overthrew Gronk it was the shear force from Ray Lewis which blew it off target.

If there is any Karma in the world the pats sure have stored up alot this week.

i don't think i have ever seen a team on a 10 win streak in the NFL cop more heat about being a bad team.

I can't take it if we lose... i can't take some of these idiot presenters feeling like their opinion was right after the just gloss over the pats strong points to their weak points. It would kill me
