Seven AFC Championship game appearances since 1996/97. Think about that. Just shy of half of them. Mr. Kraft's leadership not only in this organization but in the league as a whole and in our community cannot be overstated. We are incredibly lucky.

Amen. When Bill and Tom are done we will be just another team again. It has been a hell of ride though.

Four of which at home
I was just talking to my dad about this

From 1960 to 1994 we only had one AFCCG appearance and it was on the road
34 years!!!

I thank God every night for bringing us Robert Kraft

Cheers to the Best owner in the NFL - Bob Kraft

cheers and thanks to Bob Kraft and what he has done for the Patriots.....

Re: Cheers to the Best owner in the NFL - Bob Kraft

Bob has aged a lot in the last year, you can see the years piling onto him. Losing Myra and the Lockout in the same offseason have taken a toll.

He said something to the media today, "To win the game in front of your own fans ... wow. It might not happen again in my lifetime"... which sounds like he's thinking about mortality :(

Keep well, Mr Craft. You ARE the franchise!

bob kraft and bill belichick

neither one of you read this board, but I know there's some negativity in the fanbase from time to time, and I won't bs ---- I'd rather win this superbowl, but win win or lose, and if you go 1-15 the next 5 years, thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I live every day of my life trying to live up to the patriot way.

RIP MYRA KRAFT -- I never met you, but I wish I had.

Patriots Players-Myra Kraft Article

I thought this was the best article I've read on the significance of Myra Kraft to the Patriots players and organization. Written by Dan Wetzel.

Myra Kraft remains close to hearts, minds of Pats

"Green-Ellis’ eyes began to water. “I’m getting a little emotional.”

You finally reach a Super Bowl and you expect it’d be all smiles postgame. This wasn’t what Green-Elllis expected; Robert Kraft either.

This was life. This was better."

Good article, they are definitely using their dedication to the Kraft's as motivation. Good for them.

BJGE isn't going anywhere.

Re: Patriots Players-Myra Kraft Article

Big time watery eyes for me.

Sigh. This team, this team.

Re: Peter King:Three bold decisions by Robert Kraft transformed the Patriots

Not much new there but a great read nonetheless.

You can't help but admire and love the guy!

Re: Peter King:Three bold decisions by Robert Kraft transformed the Patriots

Nice read. Not a lot new to a long term Pats fan, but nice anyway.

Gotta love the MHK quote. 'Yeah Bob its ok if I think you just peed away $50M (on something I never wanted in the first place); as long as you keep making the same level of charitable contributions - I'll forgive you.' :)

Re: Peter King:Three bold decisions by Robert Kraft transformed the Patriots

I still think is funny that people laughed at Kraft and thought he was crazy to pay $172 million for the team. Over a billion dollars later, Kraft is the one laughing.

Yeah, it was a big gamble at the time, but in hindsight, it made him a far richer than he could have ever dreamed of. His paper company and land would never had made him a billionaire. Very rich? Yes, but in the several hundreds of million range.

Re: Peter King:Three bold decisions by Robert Kraft transformed the Patriots

Why is that story dated February 6, 2012?

That is when the magazine will hit the newstands. Featured articles that also appear on paper will hit the web early to build buzz/readership and hopefully boost sales on the rack, but they'll hold the paper sell date as the published date.

Yup. That's the part that got me. :)
