Eli over Brady?

Except for the rest of the point, which is that the Giants had to play them twice, and also played the Packers & 49ers twice, the Saints and the Falcons.

Whereas the Ravens are the only winning team the Pats have beaten.

except that you didn't mention playing them twice, they didn't have winning records, and the Packers, 49ers and Saints beat the Giants in regular season so, as I said, you didn't really have a point.

im sure that has NOTHING to do with 2007

You mean the year he had a 23-20 TD-INT ratio and completed just 56% of his passes? The year he had a 73 QB Rating. 73!!!

The Giants backed into the playoffs and won with a great defense. Use your head.

I already have Eli ahead of Rivers. If Manning wins again, then u have to consider him being there with Brady. He would be 2-0 against him in superbowls. This is why the pressure is on Brady to at least have a great game in the superbowl win or lose.

even if Brady threw 7 picks in the superbowl and the Patriots lose, I'd still never put Eli anywhere close to Brady, Brees, or Manning

"Tougher schedule" is the point, and it was, by a lot.

That's actually indisputable, btw.

sacked? yes, hit? no

and its because Eli is more elusive in the pocket than Brady is

Surely you don't believe this.

Brady is the most elusive QB in the pocket in this generation. Theonly QB that is in Brady's league when it comes to pocket elusiveness is Dan Marino.

Eli is better outside the pocket. Inside the pocket, no way.

have a cookie for having the tougher schedule... the Rams had the hardest schedule in the league but they aren't getting any trophies for that are they?

He'd be 2-0 against the Patriots defense in SuperBowls. Did losing to Terry Bradshaw's Steelers twice affect Roger Staubach's legacy in comparison to him? Anyone who watched both play will tell you Roger was the better player.

Thats a ridiculous statement.Eli has maded strides. He would have 2 rings and he isnt exactly an older QB.He would have more opportunities. With Brady u dont know if he will get another opportunity to reach this point again.

No, NFC East was the point. It failed. You just jumped in to do your usual trolling.

You failed.

actually I did multiple times.

It was a combination of having a line that got him killed this year, a tough schedule, and a defense that was PUTRID.

If your going to somehow suggest that lineplay doesn't attribute to a QBs success, i'd have to ask why u really think u lost the 07 superbowl.

I don't want to hear becuase of THE CATCH when THE GREATEST OFFENSE EVER scored 14 points

Brady was sacked more than Eli this year.

At least you admit it. The 2007 Superbowl was decided on defense of the Giants. Not Eli Manning. Period.

Eli Manning is 31 already. He's only 3 and a half years younger than Brady. Why would he get many more opportunities to reach a SuperBowl than Tom?

So now its the patriots defense? The bottom line is he will be 2-0 against TB.Eli Manning is not the same QB who used to get rattle all the time. The guy is not Peyton Manning in a big spot.

People that judge a QBs worth against another QB solely on their head to head records are idiots.

I never understood this reasoning. They arent even on the field together. They are facing the defense of the opposing team, not the QB.

You haven't answered my question about how being 0-2 against Terry Bradshaw in the SuperBowl affect Roger Staubach's legacy.

Was the '01 SB decided on the defense of the Pats, and not Brady?

how could you miss week 17 of the regular season in 2007? I'd expect any Football fan to see that... 2-0 against Tom brady? did they have a duel or something?

Have you looked at the giants defense and offense? They have some nice young players.I am more then certain that the giants will be in the superbowl again.

You guys are a bunch of homer morons if your comparing records this year. You guys have one of the easiest divisions in football only one worse is AFC west and you played those junk teams. Of course your going to go 13-3. Once you played a good team, Giants, Steelers, you lost. If you played in NFC east you would of gone 8-8 with that defense.

Calling people morons and then not realizing that the Patriots played the NFC East this year?

Should also be noted that the Giants scored their last 10 points of the game off of turnovers that had them start their drives deep into 49ers territory.

we absolutely didn't have a good game last game offensively... 49ers defense is by far the best defense in the league...

i would hope u would at least agree with that

Sure it was. Brady came through in a very tough spot to win the game, but he wasn't the driving factor behind that SuperBowl victory.
