Eli over Brady?

Explain to me how the Giants 'always' beat the Patriots when Brady is 2-2 against them is his career. Those two teams don't even face each other enough to determine if one 'owns' another, and their head to head record is tied in the last decade. Drop this argument because it's unbelievably stupid.

heres a better argument... if Vernon davis has 2 tds with 100+ yards, what will stop Gronkowski from replicating that if not surpass it?

next your going to tell me that Superbowl 42 really didn't happen

Holy ****, you don't get it.

Of course it happened. BUT IT DOESNT MEAN ELI IS ELITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Superbowl in 2000 happened too, but it doesnt make Trent Dilfer elite, it just means they had a good TEAM. ************, you're ******* stupid.

The Giants won in 2007 because of some luck and their Dline dominated the Patriots' OLine.

I'm getting worked up here because of how dumb this kid is.

Don't let it get to you. Use this one for practice. We'll hopefully get some higher quality coming over during the next couple of weeks.

Its alot of on the move route reads, which naturally causes more picks.
You mean a sight reading offense? The same kind of offense Brady's run for over ten years, with worse receivers, and never threw more than 14 picks in?

Not trying to take anything away from Eli, he's a lethal QB, but he has a lot left to do before you can compare his legacy to Brady's.

Brad Johnson must be elite too then

We talked about this earlier at work. I think Gronk has a big game. The game is totally different now and how we play on offense. No more waiting for Moss's routes to develop giving the pass rush the time to get to us.

Quick screens to RBs, under routes with Welker and the TEs in the middle will be our best bet. The Saints proved this to be true

also Gronk had a big game the last time the two teams played... it seems like the Giants cannot stop tight ends to save their life, and the Patriots are definitely going to abuse this. Even Jermichael finley was getting open alot and if he actually caught the balls, he'd have a big game

Eli is a very good QB.

Brady is top 5 of all-time.

The Giants are not winning the SB.

This SB we will see Brady as his best.

With Brady what's the record against the Steelers in the last 3 years?

If you said that about Tebow and Manning, then sure it's a coin flip. I mean personally, I would take Tebow, but whatever.

Brady and Manning... not so much buddy. I would choose Brady.

well good for u.. but theres really nothing that would change ur mind, even a second time Eli winning the superbowl over BRady right?

and when u come off of whatever drugs ur on comparing Eli to Tebow, let me know cuz I want to know where I can get some for our superbowl victory party

:D

Tom Brady had a worse defense and was sacked more often than Eli. Same with Aaron Rodgers.

sacked? yes, hit? no

and its because Eli is more elusive in the pocket than Brady is

Maybe; it wouldn't shock me to see Brady try to do too much, though. No one gets more motivated than he does, but it is possible to be too motivated, imo.

nobody said Eli was elite cuz of 2007..

your responses show how little you actually comprehend of the discussions that have been taking place today

I don't think anybody is better at moving within the pocket than Brady is... it's like he has ears as eyes, he knows how to move within the pocket to keep the play going

Brad Johnson must be elite too then

Brad Johnson: 61.7% of passes completed. Threw for 29054 yards, with 6.7 yards per attempt. Threw 166 Touchdowns and 122 Interceptions in his career for a cumulative 82.5 passer rating (5% better than the average starting quarterback in the time period he played in).

SuperBowl rings: 1
ProBowls: 2

Eli Manning: 58.4% of passes completed. Threw for 27579 yards, with 7.0 yards per attempt. Has thrown 185 Touchdowns and 129 Interceptions in his career for a cumulative 82.1 passer rating (2% worse than the average starting quarterback in the time period he played in).

SuperBowl rings: 1
ProBowls: 2

Draw your own conclusions.

You guys are a bunch of homer morons if your comparing records this year. You guys have one of the easiest divisions in football only one worse is AFC west and you played those junk teams. Of course your going to go 13-3. Once you played a good team, Giants, Steelers, you lost. If you played in NFC east you would of gone 8-8 with that defense.

What the hell is this world coming too. Eli Over Tom, words can not describe how ridiculous this is. Can't believe that people are actually defending this WOW.

im pretty sure the end of the world was when the sawx won the world series...

how does anything else surprise you?

Well, we went 3-1 against the NFC East, that's a better winning% than you guys had against the Cowboys, Redskins and Eagles.

The only teams above .500 you guys faced were the Packers, 49ers, Saints and Patriots. You went 1-3 against them.

You guys lost to the Skins twice and the Eagles. We beat both, good one?
