Actually, I have to admit to a small bit of concern about the Jets suckage.

As we all have probably been beaten over the head with enough times already, there are apocalyptic auguries aplenty abounding all around America, warning us that 2012 will herald the end times.

My concern is that the Jets implosion may be so enormous, so complete, so catastrophic that it may rip a hole in the space-time continuum, bringing those portents of imminent disaster to pass in the most devastating and unforeseen way imaginable.

While watching a Jets implosion is nearly as entertaining as a kaboom spike, I want to be able to watch further implosions, rather than one implosion so massive that none of us are left to watch the next one.

So how do we stave off this impending tragedy, so that we may have comedy for many years to come?

They already ripped apart the time-space continuum by simulatiously sucking and blowing.

I think the collective energetic impetus provided by Green Beans fans maintaining false hope will mitigate things just enough to avoid the disaster you logically portend. Their wishful thinking, as delusional as it is, coupled with overt activity (buying tickets, PSLs, team gear, etc.) causes barely enough resistance within the Unified Field to stem this otherwise inexorable suckage from achieving cataclysmic proportions. As long as they exist, suckage will be maintained at a consistent level varying only slightly from season to season. A good analogy would be effluent circling the toilet bowl after a flush: the amount and intensity of spin might change according to multiple factors, but as long as we have gravity and other key components such as Woody Johnson, Wrecks, Li'l Marky, etc., the status quo (SOJ) will prevail.

Great news:

Woody Johnson says Santonio Holmes will definitely be on Jets in 2012. "He may be one of the best players we've ever had."

Whether Woody's being honest or not, the mental anguish this will bring to Jets fans is going to be yet another treat for outside observers.

It's already begun:

Well, talking up Holmes is one way to go. You would think a team would punish a player who was such a selfish divisive element. But not the Jets.

I can't wait for the press release when the Jets anounce that Holmes is promoted to Assistant Head Coach or the newly created "Captain of All Captains". Maybe if Holmes takes Burress' gun and shoots Sanchez, the Jets will make him the highest paid player in the NFL.

It gets even better. Woody believes all QB's including Brady are coddled, ergo no issue or change needed there. And Rex is a spectcular team builder and this little tempest was but a bump along the road to greatness...due mostly to the inability to hold camp upstate where Rex normally teaches them to bond while filming reality series.

I'm telling you, fish rot from the head.

Santurdio will be back simply because his dead cap won't allow Woody and Tanny to breathe. Sanchez will be back because they don't have the cap space or the draft picks to persue any viable alternative.

I don't think the Jets suck any more or less than usual, it's just that Rex had them and the fans thinking that they didn't. Take away the bluster and they are still TSOL.

And that's enough for this thread in AFC Championship week. **** them.

even our Russian friends know the Jets suck....

FYI, Rex Ryan is about to be on the FAN with Francessa.

Sanchez is team's hardest worker, arrives early, leaves late
No coherent answer as to then why are Jets looking for a vet QB aside from "competition is good"
Going back to ground and pound
Claimed his forte is player relations and team chemistry but locker room discontent blindsided him (Riiiiight!)

Sounds like a load of crap from a load of blubbah.

Francessa it basically tossing softballs. He just asked his first remotely tough question, about the Super Bowl promise.

Picks the Ravens
Says he's rooting for the Ravens
If Rs get physical, like the Steelers did, they can beat the Pats
They can score on the Pats
Nobody can block Suggs

For the most part, that interview seemed like Francessa trying to get back into the good graces of the Jets organization.

Let's take a little stroll down memory lane of Rex's predictions this year.

1. Jets will win the division - FAIL!
2. Jets beat the Patriots.FAIL!
3.Jets will beat the Giants FAIL!
4.Jets will win the AFC FAIL!
5.Jets will win the SB FAIL!
6. Ravens will beat Patriots. soon to FAIL!
