Did you guys know that Brady was drafted to the MLB as a catcher in 1995?!

I did know that he was drafted, but I thought it was in the 19th round. He would have been a tall catcher. It would have been interesting to see him running down the 1st base line.

In some alternate universe somewhere, Tom Brady is the catcher for the Red Sox, and Jacoby Ellsbury is a WR for the Patriots. . . .

He could've been drafted as high as the second round if teams didn't believe he'd choose to go to college. Brady was pretty good at baseball too.

Brady was drafted by the Patriots in the 6th round.

If Brady had played for the Expos . . . the Jets would still suck.

Playing on a MLB team is special. Being "drafted" by a MLB is meaningless; like a Kim Kardashian wedding vow. I have personally known four guys that were drafted by MLB. Within weeks they were travelling on minor league buses and a couple of months later their baseball careers were over.

It's fair to assume he wouldn't be called to steal base that much..

That's why I'll be an Expos fan for the rest of my life.
