I got a Pat Patriot club cover for my driver and Pats Rug and neon Pats light for the mancave. My best gift was having my son home from the Air Force and being able to take him to the game yesterday.

Well, that's way better than a t-shirt.:)

Personally,I received no Patriots stuff this year because I got just about everything you can think of Pats related over the years, but my gifts came a day early with an automatic Bye and the demise of the Jets.

Same with me. I've collected a closet full of Pats gear over my 18 years as season ticket holder. Don't "need" more; just glad we keep winning. A bonus gift was the Green Beans losing -- that was icing on the cake!

I got GRONKED for xmas! Wife got me an official Gronkowski jersey, love it! :rocker:

nice framing Rob,

are signed jersey's by HOFer's worth anything? maybe a silly question, lol just curious

I actually have decent amount of experience in this because I bought a lot of stuff for my man cave. Signed merchandise is usually relatively expensive. But it all depends on the player, how often he signs things, and the demand.

For example, the place I got the Gronk jersey has the same frame with Brady's jersey for nearly $2k. Brady's stuff is alway expensive because he only does a signing show once a year or once every other year and charges $750-$1,000 per autograph (usually only memorabilia companies go to these shows for resale). On the other hand, Welker stuff is relatively inexpensive because he does more shows and charges far less. Ironically, Woodhead stuff are more expensive than most current players.

I have Bruschi Jersey framed much the same except it has the three Super Bowl patches instead of the photos at the bottom and I paid $500 for it. The Gronk was a little less.

If you are looking for signed merchandise, be careful. Most of the stuff you find on the Internet is counterfeit. I got burnt on a few pieces.

If you are looking for real stuff at decent prices, I have found a few places. Locally, New England Pictures (I go to the one at the South Shore Plaza) is good. If you go, don't pay sticker price. You can usually haggle with them.

On the Internet, Steiner Sports is the biggest and most reputable. They are expensive. I found sportsmemorbilia.com got good stuff at decent prices, but they are more of a middleman. They buy from reputable companies many times for less than you can buy from them direct, but it is a bit more of a crapshoot.

I expect that Gronk's jersey will be a great investment if he gets in the Hall. The value may double to quadruple, but I didn't buy it to resell. Granted if Gronk starts to go autograph crazy and the market is flooded, the value could go down. If you are looking for a Gronk jersey, now is the time to get it before the demand gets great.

Probably far more information than you were ever looking for when you asked.

informative reply thanks,

I worked in the athletic footwear industry for a long time and watched people chase after signed shoes by top athletes, was curious to know if jerseys garnished the same attention. guess so, dam.

My heads starting to split thinking of all the autographed products that floated by my desk. In the end Collectings just not my thing, there's a certain way to store and keep those assets to help increase their value, let alone hunt them down. to much for me lol

Never new athletes charged fans for autographs either, interesting stuff thanks again

I got this and a few other tiny things :) Hopefully come february I'm going to need a new one though :p

My father is coming home for the new year after being in Kansas for a month but with him he is bringing me a Matt Cassell signed football, A Mike Vrabel signed jersey (both from KC) He's a raiders fan so is carrying them unhappily. He also has me signed Bruschi Jersey a copy of never give up and a letter from Bruschi.

Same here - I've got everything with Pats on it! I did get my 13 yr. old some Patriots PJ pants and a Pats mousepad! Winning in December, and hopefully Jan. and Feb. is the best gift of all!

Surprising no one got the 2011 AFC East division champs stuff

Must not be a big thing when your team wins the division almost annually

I for one do not like to buy this stuff, because if the season ends badly, then I can't wear it for the negative connotations. I went to the Game-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named at the end of the 2007 season and bought a shirt at half-time (reluctantly, but I was trying to avoid standing in line at the end of the game). When I got home, I gave it away to Goodwill without even taking it out of the bag.
