Defense did really well today, especially with the offensive line struggles in the first half. Not sure what was done during halftime, but the line actually gave Brady some time.

Ridley keeps looking better game after game.

what happened to light? Something seems ominous about that. Maybe vollmer will be back.

Still frustated that the D allowed that late TD drive. Oo well...they had their moments today aswell.

Wes Welker - 116 receptions for over 1500 yards. He loves playing those dolphins doesn't he? It seems like he always kills them.

Nope. McCourty was burned twice int eh 1st half and once in the second half on big completions. The PI was a stupid play even if you have a different opinion than the refs. McCourty never should have given him the opportunity to make that call. Go look up the number of big plays he has allowed.

So, you give no credit to Matt Moore, Brian Hartline or Brandon Marshall? BTW, only one of the plays was McCourty actually BEATEN. The other two were damn good plays Miami.

As for the PI, how was it a "stupid play" when the ball was uncatchable to begin with?

As always, good summary by Reiss. Nice job giving props to Gost for the KO tackle.

If not for Gostkowski swiping at him with his arm, and bringing him down, it might have been 24-3 and a greater uphill climb for a comeback. Instead, the Patriots defense recovered a Matt Moore botched center/quarterback exchange and scored to make it 17-10. Big swing.

I told you Moore didn't suck. We were not unhappy when he left our division. He's better than Ryan.

Mayo had 13 tackles and two sacks. Now if only he could make some big plays, then I'd call him elite.

I also thought Fletcher played pretty well, on balance.

Guyton seems to have found himself phased out entirely.

Ridley looks like a future starting RB for this team.

Where's tests and Crowell at?

Hey I was at the game today, how did the Game thread go today?:D

I can only imagine:D:D

Check it out... Brady with more rushing TDs (2) than Passing TDs (1).

Why are people assuming the Jets make the playoffs with a win over Miami?

It's not the case.

Even IF the Jets beat Miami, they will not get in unless Houston beats Tennessee.

And Houston no longer has anything to play for. They are locked into the third seed. In fact, if Houston lays down to Tennessee, they get Tennessee instead of Jets a week later. All the more reason to lay down.

Credit Zoltan Mesko with a solid game today as well. Longest of 65 with an average of 48.

But, didn't you hear.. The WHOLE TEAM sucked in the 1st half.. Just ask Armstrong. He'll tell you... :snob:

Yet again, great halftime adjustments, especially on defense. Patricia drew up some great blitzes to make Moore look like the scrub he is. The game turned on the Wilfork turnover.

Brady had a great game in spite of being under duress constantly. Lucky not to not to have been intercepted twice, but for the most part excellent decisions as usual. Used all his receivers. Loved his fire and will to win when most of the team didn't look like they cared about this one too much. Love that he ran the ball--his knee must have been really bad last year.

What more can you say about Welker and Gronkowski? Nothing. In awe. Pay Welker NOW!

Mayo usually doesn't make the highlight reel, but again showed why he's worth every penny they payed. Solid game from start to finish. Defensive leader for years to come.

Ridley the most pleasant surprise of all--again. Haven't seen that kind of pure talent and elusiveness in a Pats RB since Curtis Martin. Could be a Gronk-type home run pick by BB. The future looks bright there...

Umm.. I think you over-looked Cincy.. They won today which leaves them in the hunt for a play-off spot.. Oakland is also in the hunt. Jets are gonna need a lot of help..

One of the weirdest games I've ever attended. I need to thaw and drink. Heavily.
