Current Vegas odds say this man is the favorite.

Between Ventrone and Moore. Markell Carter also has a chance.

Maybe their just opening up a couple slots for Rodney, Junior and Troy to come back?

I'm going to audition on Friday... wish me luck!

They'll re-sign Williams to the PS after bringing Ventrone or Moore to the 53 man roster.. And the Merry-Go-Round continues to spin...

I think Moore can play a little. Would rather see him than Ventrone. Have we ever heard what Philip Adams did? Which caused him to be kicked to the curb.

No, no. Chung is coming back for realsies this time!

But seriously, my money is on Ventrone.

Remember when (most) draftniks were mildly surprised when we picked McCourty so high, given it wasn't a 'position of need?' (Same thing with Dowling, and Butler to a lesser extent). The Wilhite, Wheatley and Butler bust picks, Bodden's departure and Dowling's injury are just killing the attempt to rebuild this defense.

In terms of Safety, the fact that BB only took Chung over a three year period, knowing Meriweather was an iffy long-term proposition is puzzling to say the least. Maybe he thought McGowan had huge potential, but jeez you think maybe there was a safety or two worthy of being developed sitting around when we were trading out, taking a 'throw it all against a wall and see what stricks' approach to Dlinemen, and taking bizarre flyers on QBs and injured WRs on day one?

We have been so snake bitten at DB, it's almost fishy. Makes you wonder if Corwin Brown's fingerprints aren't still on some things.

I agree, in most of those drafts BB took a lot of O line guys late and while they were fairly talented, they could not crack our starting 8. If he had taken safeties and CB's instead, who knows, but maybe things aren't so bleek back there.

The starting RT and C have been injured pretty much all year. The backup C is also injured - yet there has been very little evidence that the line's play has diminished significantly. Gotta give credit to the people in charge of having those players lined up and ready to play.

It's not wonderfully sexy, but those guys in the trench do amazing work for this football team. Brian Waters has been an absolutely enormous pickup - it can't be said enough. Hope we get him a superbowl ring to reward his long NFL career :)

The secondary had McCourty out for a little while and Chung out for a chunk.....that said, Belichick has no one to blame for this sh*t besides himself. Think Sanders would be nice to have about now? Shoot, I'd take Big Bang Clock over the junk I have a safety.

Does anyone remember we were winning one of the Super Bowls and over and over the freaking announcers were pimping 'Malcolm in the Middle'. I was happy and ready to choke them at the same time.

They sucked even when Chung and McCourty were healthy. So that is not an excuse.

How many of BB's personnel moves failed this year?

Too many to count.
Brady made him successful and even more arrogant SOB.

You will see what truth BB when Brady is gone. He will revert back to his losing ways.

He can't draft for hotsh1t, and he sure can't coach DB. If you bring up Ty Law and Assante, one word Romel.

In today's NFL, if you can't defense passing game, you are toast.
