It's not even worth arguing with you. The Denver d is awful. Von Miller is a fluke and champ should retire.

I think your getting it, theres no argument :)

I think you might sit back and understand what forum your in, this is NE's forum, 11 payoffs runs 3 SBs, best QB/coach in the NFL, and they are still a powerhouse. This isn't the Saints, chargers, colts , etc forum. Ill tell you these guys know football very well, you might ignore me but listen to them and youll learn something. They are great fans and objective.

5 of the last 8 games the broncos have held their opponents under 20 points.

Wow!

Chad Henne
Tyler Palko
Mark Sanchez
Philip Rivers
Guy in a Bears Uniform

I am so impressed. If you squint REAL HARD one of those fellers kinda resembles a 2nd tier QB!

You DO understand, that your team lines up against Tom FREAKING Brady this week, right?

Now let's look at a REAL stat - - Games vs. Common Opponents Point Differential:

Denver New England
----------------------------------

SD -1 avg +14

NYJ +4 +15 avg

KC +7 +31

MIA +3 +14

Oak +5.5 +12

Any questions?

owwww....awww...man...you are a MANIAC

Thanks :) , we have batted this around in the forums for a while, its what we think might work.
Yeah, finley's would be their biggest threat in that situation, we think , he's not better than Gronk, but might be equal to Graham, we're not sure. Though your right Graham like Colston or Moore can catch amazingly well. Only Moore and meachum are good after the catch.
We think we have a better chance at the short game, and if they are limited , at least thats the best we can come up with.

OMG never knew that about Rice, dudes a turtle, hmm maybe these 10th of a second don't matter much

our little know secrets are Porter runs a 4.21, and meachum 4.20, now its dosnt seem important to me,lol

I doubt that 4.71 40 yard dash holds up in pads. You watch him run vs the competition and he routinely seems to run away from people once he gets a step.

Well your obviously right. I think everyone has seen that, but is that technique , agility to move at angles, he was clocked wrong, or just a god given talent. like great RB's have, where there is no way you know where to run , you have to feel it in a split second? I don't know but he had it.

Quite the gauntlet of QB's you listed there!

JW7 went back to his forum crying about respect

No respect from pats fans - Broncos Country Message Boards

Wanna know why were giving your team no respect? Because the media is blowing you for beating crap teams. Beat some real teams if you want respect

Gotta say I'd be saying the same thing if I were a Pats fan.

What's funny is those crap teams still don't respect us, even after we've beaten them.

I'm good with it as long as the Broncos keep winning.

I like this

Champ will shut down whoever he covers. That allows us to double Gronkowski. Goodman can take Branch.

That brings us to Hernandez. Let's make him have a special day against us. I'm not doubting he can. But I wonder if everyone else is taken away, can he and Brady beat us all by themselves? Let's find out. If the Pats win, I want Hernandez to have 250-something yards and 4 TDs. If he doesn't get that, then I suspect we might do a pretty good job against their offense.

Everyone else is taken away but hernandez? You can put 3 guys on gronk..he will still torch you and welker? Think he forgot about him...

Yep, that's what scares me about the Pats. Could easily be a case of too many weapons. I can see us getting torched by Hernandez, 'cos all our assets are being expended on Gronk and Welker.

I still see gronk having a bigger day as usual. Hernandez will have a few big plays however

It happens every week. I can't believe somebody went as far as saying our pass rush has been dominant because we have played weak offensive lines. Doom led the league in sacks two years ago. Von is the best defensive rookie I have seen in awhile. He is going to break the rookie sack record, yet our pass rush is somehow discredited.

I can actually see Gronk having an average day (by his standards...so that'd be a TD and 80 yards), but Hernandez having a big game. I think Hernandez finishes with a better game than Gronk.

Champ is still good, but like I said, he's not a "whoever he covers will have 0 catches" type of corner anymore.

Like I said from the start, I think there's too many weapons and I think we lose this game 34-24. Sticking to that prediction as the game approaches.

I would like to see the Pats incorprate the screen game more this Sunday. Woodhead COULD have a big day. That's my break-out player prediction. I can see the Bronco's over-pursuing, and hope the Pats take advantage with the dink and dunk for good yac.

You really didn't have to do anything.. lol, yeah , I guess that seems odd. Short answer is in 2006 Sean Payton modeled the rebuilding of the Saints after the Patriots, and BB's ideas and coaching style. So, we started to watch them from a far and gained respect for what they were doing. 2009 we played them at the Dome, and expected the usual laughter, to be berated, but to our surprise they were extremely knowledgeable about football, not even remotely arrogant or condescending , and wanted to hang to talk ball. Even the newspapers wrote about it, and lots of New Orleans fans just kind of fell in love with New England. So, we want to play them in a Super Bowl. Believe it or not, thats the short answer, lol.

Your argument about stats is mute, because you have to discount them , you don't have any stats that show your a very good team at all. Believe me I tried to find one.
San Diego reasons for not winning in the playoffs is because of a weak division, and Rivers or the coaching staff has a choke problem, nothing to do with stats at all.

Fox changed because of Tebow, you haven't played a different game plan sense, and believe me you won't. We dealt with him for many years,he's no offensive mastermind.
You will play the same way all year.

You can rush the passer on below average teams and OL's, like the bears, Min, charger, etc.. Not a OL as good as New England, and you haven't played against a QB yet :)
your saying that Ponder, 2nd string QB Bears, Rivers ( who has been imploding all season), and K-Mark are good QB's? Well they are not.

Denver reminds me a lot of the Lions. Building up wins against weak opponents. Only without the good QB, errr WR's, DL, etc.. otherwise your doing exactly what they did,
and your going to start losing like they did. Thats another stat.

Patriots offense is on par with New Orleans, and we would have a field day torching the Denver's 22nd ranked defense. Patriots average 31pts a game. How many points did you score against the chargers ? lol, because they scored 35pts, Jets 30, KC 34.
No disrespect but you have a low football IQ if you think your holding Patriots offense to 13pts, we can't even do that, and our defense is way better than denver.

I don't think putting Tebows name with Brady in the same sentence ever occurred to anyone, and personally I think it will never occur to anyone threw out tebows career.
:) Brady is one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL under pressure he has a 60% completion record. Do you actually read anything about football, or did you just get these crazy ideas from Tebows prayer group.

Broncos are not a bad team, no, but they sure are not a very good team, sorry.
SF is a good team, but they can't beat great or elite teams either, and teams are figuring them out late in the season so they are starting to lose.
It will be a fun game, but don't get your hopes up , and don't worry when you lose. Broncos are still building with a new coach (Fox is a good coach BTW), new QB and new ideas. Though I'm not positive Tebow will be there next year. Sorry, just how I see it and all the stats and evidence is on my side, you just have faith.

in

We need to clone you.

Also, was in DC this last week for the game. I would say that there were 10 different groups that I talked to that still have NO as the best road trip (minus the game, ofcourse).

I fully agree. It's my favorite destination city.

I see this game a little like facing the Jets.

Consider:
- Good run game
- Better D than O
- Terrible QB (at least at the moment), except for some odd reason in high pressure situations
- Clear home field advantage
- Seem "lucky"

Since we fared well both times vs the jets I expect us to prevail here as well, unless Brady freezes up for some reason.

Sorry for insulting the Broncos by comparing them to the jerks. No one deserves that. I do apologize.

Profusely.

The thing is that when the team's are expecting the option a la the Vikings, we move away from it. I think that's been our biggest advantage, we're probably VERY tough to gameplan against. If anyone can do it, it's BB, but what happens if you gameplan all week for the option and we run it twice all game? ... Tebow had a few big runs, including a big 3rd and 16 conversion where he lowered his shoulder against a linebacker and picked up the first, but for the most part they contained the option game.

:rolleyes2: The Broncos don't run "the option game". They run a bunch of QB run stuff mixed in with play actions and some Zone Read (what all the nitwit announcers are calling the "Read Option". Is there another kind of Option where you don't read? Then it's not an option!)

If they start running the Veer out of their Gun sets or getting under center and running Midline Veer...then they will blow the minds of all the NFL "pass league" zombies.

Denver has a legit threat in the running game, it's their bread n butter, top of the league at #1 getting it done multiple ways. The jets running game hasn't been doing much this year varying from game to game, they're actually behind us in the rankings at #22 in yards gained.

I'm guessing BB aggressively tries to shut the running game down, letting Tebow go pass happy on us. Forcing a shoot out's been the M O this season, M O, jag secondary same thing:rolleyes:

I'd really like to win the coin toss and stick the O out there 1st, the thought of Denver crawling down the field burning clock at the start of the game sucks.
