Brady, not Rodgers is MVP

Speed is huge when were talking about a safety/linebacker/5th DB on a TE. Route running, agility/fluidity all go to Graham just watching him against Gronkowski as receivers I give Graham a slight edge. Gronkowski is better after the catch and blocking is a complete wash.

How is blocking a complete wash?

If Gronkowski and Welker aren't superstars, then I dunno what that means. Come to think of it, it is a pretty stupid term.

Blocking isn't even close to a wash, but otherwise I agree. Graham has better WR attributes, but Gronk is a much better TE.

MVP is Rodgers. If you look at their games GB is not blowing people out. They are winning hard fought, often closely contested games and Rodgers is the difference. He is also having one of the greatest seasons a QB has ever had.

It's funny how how points are all that matters when explaining the Patriots defense....but yards are most important when disecting Rodgers abilities.

Both Brees and Brady have lost games for their squads due to brutal INTs...Rodgers has been perfect for 12 games. What else do you need.

Yeah, but perfect doesn't matter. I thought. Brees beat Manning in almost every stat in 2008 and 2009, but Manning got the MVP, and theres probably little doubt Brees was the team in 2006.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ron-rodgers-should-be-the-2011-nfl-mvp/page/2

Rogers is doing the same to Brady and Brees this year. IF the award is not about stats and more about who is the most valuable player to their team,,,, then I have to say that Im really glad I Troll forums sometimes because it gives me a better perspecive ,, because Im really starting to consider that NE might be right.
Tom Brady is absolutely working with less than what Brees has to play with.
Heck we have Ingram not feeling well as our 3rd RB behind Sproles and Thomas, so we have Ivory coming to take his place averaging 6 ypc, ,, thats just insane, lol, and the list just goes on. Moore has trailed welker in production, colston, meachun , 2 best OL guards in the NFL, etc..
Im really kind of shifting to think maybe Brady is MVP.

The one thing that messes up most of the stats is turnovers. It makes a offense or QB look much better than it is. If you get 30 turnovers in a season, then you have luck, or pressure, or good DB play, but really doesn't mean the offense is any good with all off those extra chances and short fields.

or as they call it the MVQB,lol

OK if some posters here or a sports writer trying to do his best imitation of Skip Bayless thinks Brady should be the MVP....

I want to see Rodgers continue to perform at the same level he has been playing throughout the season, and I want to see Brady given the MVP, saying that Brady is the GOAT and Rodgers can't hold a candle to him, and a thousand excuses given about how Rodgers has so much better personnel that Brady or Brees, etc. etc. I really, really want to see this.

That would be awesome, just awesome.

if the Denver Broncos win the AFC West, I say Tim Tebow should be MVP

I'll admit that I like how Denver has stuck with Tebow. The kid deserves a chance...even if he looses out the last 4 games, he still deserves to be starting next year after what the broncs have done thus far.

MVP of the Bronco's at least.

wtf??

Rogers is great....but has a long way to go to prove he's in Brady's & Peyton's class. Is he on his way? Yup...as long as this continues for another 8-9 years no matter how many good players the Packers lose.

Brady and Manning have never had bad years...never even had an average year.

There's no doubt Manning got some defacto MVPs.

I would have no problem with Brees winning the MVP this year, over Brady or Rodgers. After watching him play the last few weeks and seeing Rodgers play over that same timespan, I would probably give it to Brees.

This^

Rodgers is unstoppable this year. His throws are all insanely accurate and it doesn't matter if he's standing in the pocket or running full speed escaping the pass rush.
