Sterling Moore to start at Safety

this is what "drafting for value" has wrought....

Just have to say they're players who are diamonds in the rough, Heres hoping Moore, Adams, Molden can be players.

Can even the biggest BB apologists explain how the Patriots, who constantly have the most or second most picks in almost every draft, still have to resort to a depth chart of undrafted free agents at the safety position. Especially in a passing lead. What an endictment on the personal department.

Bill has no idea how to draft players.

Before they were let go they were pillared on this board and on by the mediots.. last June Meriweather was convicted of murder on this board..

Injuries can be devastating..

The people who are complaining about Meriweather and Sanders being gon are, for the most part, not the people who wanted them gone last year.

Better than Ed Reed according to this board.

At WR,Safety and Pass Rush OLB......agreed

He is probably one of the worst draft evaluators I have seen at those positions the past few years......not that he is doing it on purpose but he chooses poor players at those positions which is why we are starting guys like Moore and Tarpinian tonight and an old piece of sh|t like Ocho on the team because we can't find a decent WR in the draft.

Who starts is pretty useless. That means that on the first down of the Jets series, he will be out there. He might not see another down for the rest of the game for all we know. The Pats constantly shift personnel.

When's the last time you saw a guy start and only take one snap?

You've taken a generally good point--who gets the start is more a function of formation than talent--and run it right off a rational cliff. Starters typically play quite a few snaps.

i just read this, announced it to my dad, and heard back:

"who the f*$# is Sterling Moore?"

which was expected.

See guys, the man played a heck of a game!!!!

See guys, the man played a heck of a game!!!!

I watched some video of him this week and I loved his acceleration to the ball while it is in the air. He can be a project

Jammed Keller at the line. Pressure made Keller stay in a lot more. Great game by the front seven.

He's earned the right to play again next week. Good for him. The D was ok last week too, overall, interested to see how they make out going forward.

The dude looked pretty good to me at full speed

He got a monstrous hit on #32. Took him out of the game!!! :(

IMO he had a really solid game. He was always flying by the screen right on his guy. Coverage was solid, he seemed to be very fluid and fast. I agree with an earlier poster, good project and hopefully he gets some playing time.

other then dislocating McCourty shoulder he played pretty good
