BB was asked this week if there was any chance the Pats bringing Moss back. BB did not answer the question. This could mean there is a chance they are trying to work out a deal.

He was terrible for 3 teams last year and will be 35 in 3 months. No other team has even kicked his tires this year...He's toast!

Well he should at least go into the hall of fame as a patriot.

Actually other teams did offer him a contract which he refused, he has pretty much said that he would only play for the Patriots...

He has not worn out his welcome here, as his tribute to Myra Kraft impressed everyone..

IMO it is about 50-50.. a lot depends on tonite..

Depends on Stinko.

I have a feeling he will be back... my guess is that he is essentially taking the first half of the season off and will be fresh for the home stretch into the playoffs.

The Pats need someone to take the pressure off of the short passing game. Moss will force safeties to roll deep coverage to his side of the field and open up the shorter passing game for Welker, Branch, Hernandez and GRONK!! If he does come back, I hope Brady doesn't go back to throwing INTs by forcing XX amount of throws per game to Moss.

BB got mad and said i only want to talk about the players that are here then he said we are on to the jets... noting in there made me think that Moss will ever come back that and the fact that Moss still wanted to be paid like a #1 WR he's never comeing back

Or that he, like many, is so done with this stupid idea

I want moss to come back for a few reasons, and its not because I think he will light it up like 2007

1, after that presser in Minn. I've wanted him to come back and win a ring, so it would be like the end of a football movie....and then retire.

2, why would we NOT want him back? Has anyone loved the pats as much as this guy? Plus, teams probably think he has 0 left, ( I assure you, he does have something left) and they'd probably not take him serious.

3, it cant hurt...we dont know if he is a "cancer" we dont know anything that goes on in the locker room, some of us like to pretend that we do, but we dont. Fact.

At some point starting another Moss thread is apparently going to have to become one of the few bannable offenses around here...

Or maybe he was sick of hearing about bringing Moss back.

If the worst happens tonight, I will not be surprised if he comes back.

I have no problem with Randy. He loves the Patriots. He loves Bill and Tom as well.

If Price still doesn't get it (and Brandon Tate was being destroyed on these forums last year for the same thing), he'll be gone by next season.

Doesn't hurt to bring Moss back, even for 15 snaps a game.

He may even be able to give some advice to Chad on how to pick up the system.

If they can sign Ray Ventrone for the 12th time this year, why not Moss.

Let's see. We have Price AND Ochocinco who had zero catches last week. What is their total for the year? How could Moss for 10-15 snaps a game be a bad thing (or even 5-10 snaps)? Would Moss be expected to produce less than our current #4 and #5 wide receivers? 1-2 catches a game would be a vast improvement, especially since he would stretch the defenses.
===============================
I think that we don't understand that guys like Moss (and Haynsworth) might not have a full season in them, but they are valuable late in the season for a few games.
===============================
BOTTOM LINE
Would Moss added more against the jets than Ventrone? We have the same question to ask each week.

Why do we need him back? Anbody who's been paying attention should clearly be able to figure out that this is going to be Johnson's break-out week. He's finally going to get it and start earning his 6M.

That's quite unusual for him not to answer a question, must be significant.
